We are a newly married couple who just bought a 900sqft home and experienced bathtub complications with our primary and only bathroom. Our complaint is that Tallman Co tried and successfully sold us high end luxury tile which did not match our needs. They failed to access the profile of their customer and talk realistically about budget. Furthermore, Mr. Tallman highly recommmended a contractor, Rob McManus, who was supposed to be experienced with installing this expensive handmade tile. Mr. Tallman assured us that this contractor installed his own bathrooms at his home. We hired Rob McManus but in the end, he did a very poor job and damaged all the purchases from Tallman Co. (a separate report with photos is submitted concerning Rob McManus) Mr. Tallman drew up the design and dimensions for the bathroom but then left us hanging after we paid him for all material and the project turned sour. He continues to recommend Rob McManus to other customers and says that our experience of Rob's service was "unfortunate". Our lesson from this experience is to never hire a "friend" and we wish we would have found a solution for our bathroom repair on Angie's List.
Description of Work: We purchased $8,000 of material for our bathroom remodel from Tallman Co. We were acquaintances with the owner and respected his opinion. Unfortunately, the owner's recommendations were unprofessional.
