Very pleased with STLBuildPro. Over the last year we started out with a bid on plaster repair on and older STL Hills (mother's) home - but extended the bid to include roofing and tuck pointing. So pleased with those projects we accepted another bid on our home to build a deck with overhang, and then to repair basement drywall due to water damage. Already asking for another bid from STLBuildPro on another project. The crews were excellent, took care of the property and cleaned up daily. Shout out to the staff, Felicia, Jason and Tony.

STLBuild Pro did a great job repairing my water damaged plaster wall. During the initial wall repair, it was discovered the wall was still encountering moisture and repairs had to be halted to fix the leak. Once STL Build Pro located the source of the leak from my chimney, they got it repaired quickly. After ensuring the wall was now moisture-free, the plaster repair was completed in a day. The wall looks better than it has in years! I’m so glad STL Build Pro has such broad knowledge of all areas of home repair—it saved me from having to work with a second contractor to do the tuckpointing. They do it all!

I had STL Build Pro come out to my home and do a complete makeover in my living room. They installed crown molding and repainted all in two days. Despite the snow, the installers and painter showed up both days prior to 7am to ensure the job was completed. The installers and painter could not have been any more professional the entire time they were in my home. I would not only hire STL Build Pro for any job, but would highly recommend them to all my friends and colleagues for any work they may want done. Thank you guys again!

We had been dealing with a stubborn leak around our chimney. They were confident in the problem and their ability to fix it and the interior wall. To the extent we paid them more than competing quotes, because we trusted them to get done. It took about 2 months longer than originally quoted to get the work done. And there wasn't a lot of communication (we found out they finished a few days after we inquired about random supplies they left strewn in our neighbors lawn...) Finally, we noticed a subtle crinkle appearing on our replastered wall. We called them and they insured they would send someone to look at. No one ever communicated with us. Eventually, a week after my husband called and they said someone had looked and it was actually fine, no leak. Months later it is apparent they were wrong and never fixed the problem at all. We called them back and they're "sending someone out". But after this experience I imagine we will have to pay someone else to actually repair it, and the now ruined interior wall. What a waste of 4,000 bucks. They weren't timely, communicative, and didn't get the job done.

"[Member Name Removed] Andrew Taylor, It is an existing leak that we are going to get taken care of, its under warranty with us. At the time of estimate on 5/29/2020 we disclosed we were roughly 8 weeks out to start on the 2 leak areas and once the outside was done the interior should wait for several hard rains to make sure the leaks were fixed. Also, if any of the leaks reappeared we would come back to address as older brick city homes might take a couple tries, because sometimes the leak is from more than one spot. We started on 7/21/2020 on the exterior (took 2days for the 2 different areas) and completed the interior on 8/10/2020. Yes , it took 2 days for me to come back and pick up the left over material, my apologies. When you called that it might still have a leak, we immediately went out to check the flashing and termination at brick that same day. Everything looked fine . Just this week I received your message on Wednesday that from the rain this weekend it was clearly still leaking. We went out same day. Again we will get the chimney tightened up and the interior is an hour of work for us and no charge to you on this round. These are very minor things we are taking care of. There is no reason to pay someone else when this is clearly under warranty. We were full disclosure on the day I walked thru to bid the job. Im sorry you feel this is wasted money even though this work is under warranty and we will get it corrected. Thanks Jason Carrera"

We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen remodel by STLBuildPro! From the initial communication and bid process, though project planning, demo, inspections, installation, etc. they were responsive, professional and extremely dependable. And since any major remodel project typically involves change orders, I’m happy to report that the changes to the initial bid were minimal and absolutely necessary to get to our final vision. We would without hesitation hire STLBuildPro again, and recommend them to everyone!

The gutters are great, the gutter covers do not work, the heavy rains just overflow and created waterfalls throughout areas on the gutters. The company even installed an additional downspout, which did not work, we still had the waterfalls, but the good news we were not charged for this. They then came out to install some sort of shield made out of the gutter material, to push the rainwater away from the problem area, which would of looked like crap on the house. I wanted the covers removed, which were in the problem areas, which they did. Then I decided to have the rest of the covers removed because I was concerned with more heavy rains and the winter snows and ice. To say nothing about the amount of pine needles we get in the fall, I figured the pine needles would just lay on top of the cover and I would have to get up there to sweep them off. Now for the clincher, no refund for the gutter covers, and an additional charge to have them removed! The gutter covers have tiny holes which should let the rain water flow through, but any moderate rain flows over the top of the gutters. When personnel from this company emails you wanting your opinion about the gutter covers, because new customers are questioning the tiny holes in the covers, wanting to know if the covers can catch heavy rains should tell you something. Not pleased with this company!

"The gutter covers work as expected. They are meant to allow the debris to flow over the top and off the gutters. My understanding is that this was making your gutters dirty and that was your concern, the need to power wash the dirt/debris off the exterior of the gutters. They can occasionally get things on top of them such as the pine needles you mentioned however those can be blown off rather easily. The gusher guard that we proposed and would still like to put on your home, is a standard item used when the incline of the roof is too much for the area of gutter that you have available."

When we advised you that there was a cost for this, that is when you were suddenly dissatisfied with our workmanship and product. From start to finish, I was impressed with STL Build Pro. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and friendly when doing our estimate. He even pointed out a few projects on our list from our inspection that he said they could do at the same time they were here for painting. Tony did a great job explaining how the days would go and what each item would entail. Scott and Dustin did a fantastic job executing each aspect of the project, leaving us with amazing results. We couldn't be happier with the finals results and highly recommend STL Build Pro not only for your painting needs but as well as any projects you need done around your house.

My bathroom looks exactly how I imagined it would. STL Build Pro did an excellent job. My bathroom was very outdated, it was totally gutted down to the studs and remodeled to a more modern bathroom. The workers were very professional - even when I would make surprise visits on my lunch hour just to see what was going on. They were always working and took time out to explain to me what was going on and where they were with the project. With any project, there were a few minor issues but nothing that took a lot of time to fix. I highly recommend Jason, Tony and his crew.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED working with STL Build Pro! They remodeled our basement and made it an amazing space, that we are already enjoying! Our basement was completely unfinished - they worked with us to design the entire space. We added a living space, wet bar, bedroom, play area, 2 bathrooms (one full bath and a half bath) and laundry area! Every member of the team is extremely professional and courteous and so enjoyable to work with - even our kids loved having them around and talking to them every morning before they left for school! They made sure we were happy and satisfied with each part of the basement. They pay attention to every little detail! We added on some small projects upstairs as well, and they were very accommodating to any additional renovations we wanted to do or any changes we requested to things they were already working on in the basement. I would highly recommend them for any project - I already have some renovations I plan to do in the future and will be reaching out to them again for that work - I wouldn't use anyone else!

We are very happy with the work STL Build Pro did in our home. The planning went smoothly. They were able to accommodate us by scheduling the messy demo of the plaster walls while we were out of town. Gutting bathrooms in a 110 year old house can be challenging but they were able to overcome any surprises behind the old walls and floors. We knew the layout we wanted and what we wanted to achieve to maximize space. Jason and Tony listened and executed our plan beautifully. Tony, the lead on our job was very responsive and attentive to detail. If there was something that we were not happy with they made the necessary adjustments immediately. He and the workers were always on time and completed aspects of the job when scheduled. Both Jason and Tony walked us through picking out all the fixtures, flooring, and other allowances. They were very respectful of our home, my family and our dogs.
