"Member: I am truly sorry that you feel less than satisfied with the level of customer service you received from our company. When we wash and seal concrete surfaces, it is standard procedure to request from the homeowner to leave items off the concrete surface (BBQ pits, furniture, storage boxes, etc.) until our project is complete specifically to prevent these types of issues. 24-48 hours is needed for the concrete surface to reach the correct moisture level so the seal will adhere properly. Putting seal down on wet or moist concrete is incorrect application and can lead to unsightly results. At St. Louis Pro Wash, we aren't meteorologists. We cannot predict the weather. We washed your patio in late April/early May during the rainy season. We apologize that we ran into a rainy week and it took longer than expected to finish your porch. It was out of our control. There isn’t much we can do in the rain when it comes to sealing concrete and we don’t take chances with sub-par results. We're also wondering why you were mowing your grass in the rain? Your patio was clean, prepped and ready to be sealed as soon as it dried. Against our instruction and professional recommendation, you placed your patio furniture back on the porch and it left several noticeable marks that needed to be power washed again, further delaying the project. Is it our fault that, against explicit instruction and our professional recommendation, you disregarded our seasoned advice and placed your stained furniture back on the porch after we'd left, causing the brown stain to bleed onto the clean concrete? We say no but we’ll let the Angie’s List community decide. As far as irritated, frustrated and confrontational, the accusation is wildly absurd and can be debunked and discredited by any one of our 1,000+ satisfied and return clients. 22 of them located within 2 miles of your address. "Sir, is it my fault you put a table there and stained it after I left?” sounds like a respectful and reasonable question and we think most homeowners would agree. After it was clear and apparent that there was nothing we could do to satisfy you, short of working for free, we felt it was best for both parties to move on amicably. Again, I am terribly sorry that your experience with our company was less than stellar.
