ST LOUIS MARRIOTT WEST

The initial planning through Marriott was quite painful. The sales manager was not professional in anyway; he wouldn't even return calls. They booked our reception room back-to-back with other events which resulted in us having to pay extra money for labor on setup due to limited time (note: we requested that they notify us if other events were to be booked around ours, they did not). They continuously botched room layouts and other planning items. The food during our initial tasting was horrid. They also botched several guest room reservations and refused to provide the prearranged group discount to some guests. The honeymoon suite was dirty and they failed to send housekeeping after multiple requests. Overall it was a terrible experience and every time we had to deal with them it was like pulling teeth. This was the single biggest mistake in our wedding planning. We ultimately pulled it off but it was with no help from Marriott.
