I had an appointment about 5 weeks ago. He looked in my eye and said it was a viral infection. He then gave me some drops and told me to take them until the infection went away. I took the drops for a week and my eye cleared up so I stopped the drops. The eye infection kept coming back after weeks of back and forth with the drops. I made an other appointment to see Dr. Sciortino and I said that I took the drops like he said to and he said (and I quote) "I never tell my patients they can do whatever the h*** they want". He told me then to wean myself down off the drops. What an idea! If he had told me that to begin with I could have saved me and extra visit and my eye would be cleared up. In addition, I had never had a doctor talk to me in that way. I will be finding me another eye doctor.
