 + -1 moreI let them go after half of the job was complete. They often times didn't show up, or if they did they only worked a few hours and then left. Left the yard a mess when they left and scarred up my brick with their grinder. The owner seemed sincere but there was a great disconnect between him and his crew. Maybe it was just a bad time.
Description of Work: Grind out old mortar 1/2" and solid point entire face of building

 + -1 moreI chose them to get a quote because they were rated high. My interaction was pretty good. I haven't had any work done yet. They are pretty nice and courteous. Their responsiveness was okay because when I called them, one of them said they were going out of town at Thanksgiving.

 + 0 moreContractor performed all work in professional manner, working at heights of 40-50 feet. Crew used proper safety equipment and took precautions for protecting owner's and neighbor's historic homes.
Description of Work: Full tuckpointing on five chimneys, including brick repairs and modifications to caps. Excellent color match with new mortar.

 + -1 moreSince the work was done to the front of the house St. Louis Brickers cleaned up each evening and worked professionally during the day. The work was done quickly and I was very pleased with the results. I would definately use them again
Description of Work: St. Louis brickers replaced the foundation of my front porch. They matched the bricks to the house and replaced the brick wall all the way around the foundation. they were also able to fill in a few cracks and replace a corner piece of the porch itself as well as even out the front steps.

 + 0 moreRuss and his crew did a great job on our chimney. Not only did we get an estimate the day I contacted him, they did the work THE SAME DAY. They were able to remove a huge accumulation of "stuff" and made our 100-yr old chimney look brand new. I highly recommend St. Louis Brickers and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: Tuckpointed chimney and removed many decades of luminescense and paint from the upper half of the chimney.
