Referred by Slyman brothers. A handyman had tried to install the new unit but damaged it beyond repair (and reimbursed us). I called Speaks, and next day Pat came out but couldn't install damaged unit. Made a second visit without extra charge after we bought another waste disposer from Amazon. He added an electric outlet under the sink and successfully installed the disposer.

A bit of adjustment was needed to get the new one in. They took out an old gas cook top, enlarged the hole in the Corian so the new cook top would fit, and they installed the cook top. As part of the job, they also replaced the gas line so it was brought up to code. The price included running black pipe through the floor and also included a new flex connector for the cook top. Two men worked about 2 hours each to complete the job. Speaks did an excellent job and his price was about $150 less than other bids for the same project. If I need any more appliances installed, Speaks will be at the top of my list.

Showed up on time. Efficiently and professionally installed the waterline to the built in icemaker. Smooth!

It started off really well. Chuck even helped the 2 other guys installing the gas stove. He was professional and saved the the day when there was a gas leak. I needed further electrical a gas line work done. Chuck gave an estimate which was very reasonable. I called him twice to set up a time, I only got a answering machine, but never got a return call.

He performed all the tasks in a time manor at an economical price.

Chuck, with another colleague, came to my home, and after discussing the entire job, I was given a firm quote. This discussion involved advising me on the issues involved and the cost of converting the cooktop from electric to gas, and the selection of the oven/micro combo based upon the limitations of the existing configuration and measurements. This was really helpful since I had already done some looking and had two models in mind that wouldn't have worked out at all. After finalizing and purchasing my appliance choices, and choosing the new countertop, I accepted their quote, and they returned to take precise measurements. Also, the countertop I had selected would be purchased from their own source, at a better price. After I had selected and purchased the new sink, they returned for it and took it to the countertop provider, so that a precise cut-out for the sink could be made. Two to three weeks later, the countertop was delivered, as were all the appliances, and a date for installation was decided. This was a big job, lots of ripping out and installing new, and taking away the old appliances, cleaning up and removing all the packaging, and finally, cleaning up as much as was possible of the debris. The two worked steadily for 8+ hours. They were very pleasant and polite, worked well together, and were efficient and competent. Chuck responded quickly to phone calls, and kept me well advised of timing and any other issues involved. To sum up, they did a great job and I haven't a single negative thing to say. It was a job well done, and looks it. I am completely satisfied and would hire them again.

The installation went well and there were no problems.

We bought a new refrigerator and found out our home's water line needed repair. Speaks was referred to us by Slyman Brothers, where we bought our fridge. Slyman also told us the price would be $50, but Speaks quoted us $115. Because of the price issue, things took a while to begin. Finally, we agreed on the price and the service was excellent. Everything was superb.

Chuck and Randy were a half hour late, but called before the scheduled time to tell me they were running behind (their previous job took longer than expected.) They showed up and got right to work, one replacing the exhaust motor, which was in a tiny crawl space in the basement, and the other cutting through the brick to install the dryer vent. They spent a few hours on the job, not taking any breaks. I had purchased a new electrical panel for our dishwasher, but was unsure how to install it. The two men volunteered to do it for me and only charged me $25 extra. When they were done they cleaned up and left things looking very nice. All of the appliances work great! I would highly recommend their company.

They were timely, finished the exact project quickly, and I have had no problems at all using my dryer, or had no interference with the rest of the electric in my house.
