Our seven-year-old greyhound / lab mix was snapping at our ten-year-old and we were very concerned, having survived a previous dog bite situation.  After an extensive exam and questioning, the vet determined that although she still loved to go for five-mile runs, her hips simply couidn't keep up.  She prescribed cosequin and walks only, and the dog's attitude improved dramatically and quickly.  She literally saved the dog's life.

First time visit; met all expectations

The night before Thanksgiving, our young male cat Tennessee started urinating outside of his litter box. I know this is a sign of a feline UTI, but the cat showed no other signs that indicated an emergency, so we didn't go for any emergency care. After quarantining Tennessee in the bathroom for a miserable 36 hours, I called Southwick at 7:45 a.m. Friday morning Nov. 28th, and was overjoyed to hear that I could bring him in that morning. Dr. Evelyn Boch saw him and altho we couldn't provide a urine sample, she prescribed an antibiotic and a trial period of cat food designed to increase the acidity of his urine. He started improving slowly.
    Three subsequent visits were made on Dec. 2, 9 and 16. We incurred costs for the exams (done by Dr. Pam Zurfluh), 3 urine analysis, more RX and a diet supplement, a 30-day supply of special food, and, a day-boarding fee (in order to get that first urine sample). Additionally, I was able to discuss things with their behavior specialist, Caroline, and she suggested a specific brand of feline calming spray (because he was probably stressed-out due to several things that week) and a special cat litter that really helped Tennessee get back into the litter box (almost overnight).
    The people at Southwick are kind and caring and really know their stuff. Yes, they are expensive, and that's why I had to give a "B" for price. But you will get top-notch care for your cat, and we felt this was a situation that called for it.

Suggested that I discontinue use of current anti-biotic and use another. Results were immediate and my kitten is all back to normal again.

My dog has had other things before and they've always been really good, but he hasn't had surgery or anything there. They answer questions well and every time I go there it's very clean and they seem to really care about the pets and don't rush you through. They are very professional but yet still friendly. I thought they did an excellent job.

They are very personable, efficient.  We are comfortable with them.

They are good with the animals.  They take good care of them.  They try to make sure that they have the proper shots and everything that goes with that.  They are very thorough, and they send us notices to make sure we keep up with all of the medications that the dog needs.  Their prices are very reasonable.

We have been using her for about eleven years. They have a wonderful group of vets. Our vet, Dr. Bock, has been an excellent vet to our animals. I would highly recommend her and continue to use her in the future.

Dr. Evelyn Boch is the best vet that I have ever had! She is so very compassionate. She is always concerned about the animals that she cares for. She actually talks to the animals more than their owners. She is very responsive. Her staff is nice and friendly. I feel confident with her knowledge and capabilities.

Dr. Evelyn Bock is the most wonderful vet ever. I have been taking my animals to her since 1987. She is so caring to my animals. She was there for me when I had to put one of my cats to sleep and showed deep compassion. The staff members are great too. Her prices are reasonable and I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.

My dog was in the veterinarian s office all day for these treatments. The veterinarian really communicated and talked nicely to me. My dog really likes the staff, so that s always a good sign. I like the staff as well.

Veterinarian is very good and gave him medication which helped him a lot. She was friendly and really took an interest in the dog. A nice small vet office with a pleasant environment. Dr. Bock was recommended to us by our cats' vet and we aren't disappointed with her.

IF A ANIMAL HAD A BROKEN LEG, WOULD ANYONE GIVE IT PAIN MEDICATION WITHOUT A CAST ON THE LEG? THIS SUCKS.

EXCELLENT VET. WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR. BOCK FOR YEARS. SHE IS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY FRIENDLY. SHE IS GENTLE WITH THE PETS.

THE VET, DR BOCH, WAS VERY POLITE. THEY DID LAB WORK. THEY WERE PROMPT AND CARING.
