Shade-Guard

We found out about this company from the wife of the owner who toured our garden in June.  We contacted them and made an appointment with Johan.  He was on time (or called right away if he was going to be late) for all of the appointments we set up.  He prepared a proposal and submitted a bid.  The bid was higher than we expected based on some preliminary figures he's given us.  When we questioned him, he gave us a complete explanation of how he arrived at the bid and also provided suggestions for ways to reduce the cost while maintaining his high quality standards.  In the end we were able to come to an acceptable price.
Johan was great at keeping us informed of his progress either through emails or by phone.  He made at least three visits prior to starting work to make sure he had all the measurements correct and that we understood what we were getting.  The day of initial installation was set and he was here on time.  His work was done carefully and he cleaned up well when he was done.  Final assembly of the awnings was done on the appointed day and they looked just like we expected.  We are looking forward to having more shade on our deck next summer.
