I'd like to give a shout out to the in-house jeweler/master craftsman, Denny Warner, at Scotsman and the customer service/sales associates at the counter. I've taken rings to be re-sized or have a diamond replaced in past years here. This visit I wanted my husband's wedding band to be resized to fit me a week after he passed. It was very busy when I walked in but I was greeted and told somebody would be with me shortly. One woman offered her help and realized she needed Denny to look at the band before she could quote a price, but he was at lunch. She called him to see when he'd be returning. I was told 20 minutes. I needed to make a call so I told her I'd be happy to wait and would be outside. When Denny was back, I was still on the phone outside. The woman came out to find me to tell me he could help me. That was amazing. When I went in, she took me back to the workroom where Denny was. I was not expecting that! He took a look and thought he might be able to compress the ring down

My brother and I, with our spouses, carried in four boxes of jewelry and coins on a Saturday morning. We were promptly greeted and serviced. One gentleman worked with my sister in law to do the jewelry while another gentleman went with my brother, husband and I to do the coins. They went through everything with us looking on. They explained everything they were looking at and offered their expertise. We were very pleased with the entire experience and felt as though we were treated with respect and given a fair value for the items.

The experience was fantastic. My husband and I had gone to several shops looking for the "perfect" ring for me. They were very knowledgeable and helpful but never pushy. I found a beautiful vintage platinum ring from the 1930's and they volunteered to size it before we even put any money down. It was a gorgeous piece that was everything I wanted, plus it was very reasonably priced for a vintage, platinum ring with about a 1 ct. center stone. Every where else that even came close wanted around $5,000 for a similar piece and many of those were vintage recreations. They are wonderful every time I go in for a cleaning and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, reasonable vintage jewelry.

Overall, it went fine. It was a very pleasant experience because they were very friendly to me. They were professional and I would go back to them if I needed to.
