I have been taking our vehicles here for about 3 years. The dealer quoted a much higher price for the brake pads. Their pricing is great. They even completed the service earlier than they said they would. We got the car back the same day we took it in. They are honest and are a great neighborhood auto service company. I have had no issues getting the car in when we need and I have been very satisfied with everything they have done.

When we dropped our car off both the navigation and storage compartment were working as expected. When we picked the car up the navigation screen would no longer open and the storage compartment latch was broken.
We are certain that both items were fine when we dropped the car off. A service technician had called us to let us know the radio wasn't working. This was a known issue as the amp had been removed and I was looking for a replacement part. The navigation screen opens when operating the radio and we believe it was manually closed instead of using the proper button. As a result it appears this has broken open/close mechanism for the navigation screen.
I had opened the storage compartment when we dropped the car off to retrieve my sunglasses. At that time it was fine. When we picked it back up and I went to open the storage compartment to put my sunglasses back in, I found the latch was broken.
When these issues were addressed with the manager, my wife was told the car is old and these are things that break on this age of car. We emailed the customer satisfaction email about a month ago and haven't received any response.

It was very easy to make an appointment. The work they did on my car was done so well that it looked like new again when I went to pick it up the next day.
They work with Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, which has a location in walking distance just next door. I was able to pick-up and drop-off my rental easily when I dropped off and picked up my car at Schaefer.
Would definitely return to Schaefer, if I need auto body work in the future.

Replaced and matched the paint to the left front bumper of 2003 Toyota Camry that accidentally got crunched by a fast moving garage wall. The paint match is so perfect you can't tell there was ever a problem.

Service was provided in a reasonable amount of time. The location had a large queue of vehicles already, but I was made aware of it and given and estimated time for repair based on their workload. Whilst repairs were being made I did not feel I was being informed about their progress and had to call and make inquiries on my own. It turned out there was more suspension damage then they had originally believed and additional repairs were needed and the repair time extended. I have no problems with this, however I did have to make my own call to discover it, rather than receiving a call or email from the shop.
Regarding the actual service provided and responsiveness of the shop when I did call and speak with their service representative, I would rate them as excellent. I would use this shop again, should I be so unfortunate to have another auto accident.

I asked them if they could perform the repairs as speedily as possible since our insurance was not covering a rental car during the repairs. My car was finished 4 days sooner than they had originally estimated it would be finished. My car looks brand new! I am so pleased at the quality of the work that was done and the professionalism and attitude of all the employees I was in contact with. I went to the O'Fallon location for drop-off and pick-up, but the repairs were actually performed at the Crestwood location because they would be able to get to them sooner. They also worked seamlessly with my insurance company. I hope I never need auto body work again, but if I do, I will definitely go to Schaefer again.

They were fabulous. It was beautiful. That girl really banged up my husband's car. Last month my husband backed into somebody who was backing out of their parking space at work. We took the car back to them and Scott, the man that my husband dealt with, really worked with us on our deductible and the car is beautiful again. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They even worked a little bit on it on Labor Day which was a Monday. We were really pleased. They got it back to us really fast because we didn't have a car rental. My husband was using my car. They knew that and they expedited it and kept on much faster than what we thought. They also saved us some money. It was through the insurance company so I want to say the cost was under $2000.00. That is nothing for a Cadillac. They also follow up with emails. During the work they are emailing you and letting you know if parts are in and so on. After the job they send another email that usually comes, one from customer service and one from the owner. I hope we don't have to use them too soon, but we would use them again if we had to. We wouldn't even think about it. That is the place we would go.
