They ended up doing the work on and off in June and July. I had an insurance claim involved and certain things had to be redone, like the carpeting and drywall. So there was a crack repair they did. It ended up being more than just water proofing, he told me that he had a guy on their roster that could do the job. He was able to squeeze us in between other projects, so we got lucky.

Excellent. They are probably in the higher price category, but well worth it. Great design ideas and superior workmanship.

We needed the work done before closing on a house we were selling.  Brett, Vice-President of Production, came out promptly and gave us a couple of potential options for the old termite damage repair.  We opted for the complete job.  We received the bid promptly and the work was completed a few days later.  The workman was professional and friendly and completed the work with precision; he also cleaned up beautifully, you couldn't tell he had been there other than by the work he had done. The office staff was easy to work with and everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional.  We were very pleased with the quality of work performed and I would use Riggs Construction again.  Thanks to all of you for your help and a job well done.

They came over when they said they would.  They were very confident and knowledgable about the what to do.  This was an uncertain situation and I needed the contractor to be flexible and they were.  Communication was excellent.  Professionalism was excellent.  If I ever have any contstruction needs in the future I will give them a shout.

Our house was built in 1966 and the kitchens were typically small. I had planned on getting three separate bids for the remodel. After just two bids and five different plans for the kitchen, I never did get a third bid. I accepted the bid from Riggs Construction and Design. From the first appointment with Amie Riggs Swarts and Kristyn Brennan to the completion of the project, Riggs was a joy to work with. They took care of everything. From the initial walk thru of the kitchen with the construction crew, plumbing company electrical company, painting company and the flooring company to the delivery of the dumpster and porta potty, everything ran on schedule. We had weekly meetings with Riggs to go over what would be happening that week and which trade people would be coming to the house. Everyone showed up when they were scheduled and cleaned up at the end of the day. Kristyn accompanied my husband and I on our shopping trips to choose cabinets, countertops, flooring and lighting. 
 The remodel took about six weeks. Riggs moved my appliances (except for my dishwasher) into the dining room, so we had a working refrigerator during the remodel. My dishwasher was moved to the garage since I was replacing it with a new one. They also brought me a tabletop oven with two burners so we would not have to eat out every night. During the tear out of the old kitchen, the company put up plastic walls around the outside of the kitchen to keep as much dust as possible in the kitchen area. They also put down protection on my carpeting. The remodel was completed on time and there were no delays. I am thrilled with my new kitchen. I will use them in the future.

They are accurate and timely. They are excellent at giving a timeframe of the jobs. They are impeccably clean and so is their work.

They are phenomenal. They did an excellent work. They completed everything on time. They are reliable. They clean up after themselves every day. They are first class. You pay a little bit more, but it is worth. I am actually working up a quote right now with them to do the kitchen.

I cannot say enough good things about Riggs Construction.  Their work was superb, they were wonderful to work with, and there were no hidden "surprises" with which to contend.  Everyone was very professional, prompt, and concerned with our being happy with the project when it was completed.  Their woodworking skills are excellent, and no one would ever know that the changes and additions to the house were not part of initial construction.  We actually used the company two separate times, as the kitchen remodel was done a couple of years later than the hearth room addition and bathroom remodel.  We were thoroughly pleased with their work on both occasions and would not hesitate to call on them again for future projects.  Neighbors who used them after we did were likewise happy that they chose Riggs.  Kudos to Amie Riggs and the whole company.

The work is not holding up very well. We have had to redo the shower because of tile cracking and leaks. The workman changed often. The supervisor, Chris, would not listen to my concerns. For example, I told him the shower was not draining correctly within a day or so of it being complete and ready to use. Chris told me that it shouldn't be a problem and how difficult it would be to correct. I should have insisted they fix it at the time.

Riggs is excellent to work with. They show up when they say they will and all of their people are very pleasant to be around. The quality of their work is superb. If there's a problem, they work with you to resolve it. They are not the cheapest in town, but they provide good value for the money.

We love Riggs Construction and have recommended them to family and friends who are considering any remodeling work of any size. They are family owned and are honest and caring and friendly and do quality work at a fair price. Anytime we have ever had an issue they send someone right out and fix it immediately at no charge. We wouldn't call anyone else with any remodeling job.
