Roof replacement was an excellent experience with the Renovation Team. Professionally done and wonderful customer service, Jim answered all my questions. During the inspection, he worked with the insurance adjuster in a professional manner and as a homeowner advocate.

The work was completed per our contract and looks great.

We called Steve and he got back with us the same day. He came to our home two days later for an inspection and had his crew was here that very afternoon to complete the work. They replaced the shingles in the damaged area. Steve called us the next day to let us know the manufacturer was going to take care of the entire repair. We recommend Steve Parker and Midwest Construction for any home repair and remodeling as they do a fantastic job.

Very responsive and worked well with insurance company

The workers arrived on time and did quality work. They kept us abreast of any issues that arose and offered us suggestions to prevent the problem from occurring again. We were very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

On a bright sunny day, at 6:58 workers started placing ladders and with tools in hand were on the roof working by 7AM.
The old roofing was removed.
When about half the roof was reinstalled a sudden storm of rain and small hail rolled in.
The workers covered the exposed area with tarps and waited out the storm.
I gave them all dry tee shirts.
They finished the job staying late in the day.
Since then we have had as much as ten inches of rain in 24 hours.
And my house is dry, just the way I like it.

Excellent service.  Explained all aspects of of the new roof install and materials.  Completed the job in one day as promised.
Filed all insurance forms and followed up installers to make sure everything was done perfectly.  Was so happy with his work that I contracted with Jim to install new windows.

I have never worked with a better contractor! They worked hand in hand with State Farm and they persuaded insurance to cover more damage than originally noted by adjuster. Owner was always on site when work was being done. Communication was excellent. They did not ask for any money until checks were received from insurance. Quality of work was excellent. Dealt directly with one of the owners all the way thru the process. Can not praise them enough! Work included new roof, siding,gutters, new garage door. They went above and beyond work expected.

He was unbelievably helpful. He was completely fair in pricing and didn't try to overcharge or tack on extra costs. He was very thorough and didn't give any information that I already had. He was able to answer any questions I had even if it was more thorough than what he may have normally done.

My roof was damaged during the spring storms, it had major hail damage. After contacting Midwest Contractors based upon a neighbor's recommendation, the general contractor, Steve set up a meeting to gather my needs and left shingle samples of many colors. Steve explained succinctly how the claim process works, and how to get the most out of your insurance provider in order to satisfy your claim and get your roof replaced. Furthermore, Steve is very knowledgable regarding the current roof shingle, flashing, and joint sealing material technologies. On the day of the roof replacement, the workers were very considerate, and did a marvelous job of first removing the old materials, replacing the roofing paper, sealing the joints where the roof angles together, then installing the new shingles. Steve also recommended additional flashing and sealing areas not originally performed by my house's original builder. Since the installation, there has been a few major rain and wind storms passing over my home, and I have not found any problems with my roof's installation. I would HIGHLY recommend and USE Steve and Midwest Contractors for ANY home and roof repairs in the future that I might need.

Mark and Steve are the owners and they are both very knowlegeable of the job they do. One of them frequents the job site on a regular basis to make sure everything is running smoothly. I own a business & I will reccomend them to everyone I come in contact with.
One of the jobs they performed was an insurance claim and the other was an out-of-pocket expense. They did a great job with both & even spoke directly to the insurance company for us.
