I expected to pay a remodeling expert for infrastructure, and I did not receive the quality workmanship for the price charged. The demolition went quickly and they were careful about sealing the workspace. The plumber and electrician did adequate work. He did not consult with a HVAC certified professional to reroute the cold air return and heat vent. He was very quick to say that we did not require this work. In the end, I consulted a professional myself and found that the information he gave me was not true, and deducted from the estimate. The flooring work he did, rather than hire a professional floor installer, was horrible. There were several spaces in the wood where it was not matched properly and large gouges taken out of the wood. We had several discussions because we were unhappy with the work, and he spent more time arguing about why it was done that way rather than what could he do to correct the problem. The workers scratched my floors after I had them finished, and he did not accept responsibility. I asked for new drywall and received patched plaster instead. The walls were uneven, which was clearly evident when the countertop was installed. The cabinet doors were rubbing each other, hitting the wall, etc. the window casing off, cut the hole too big in the cabinet for the light fixture, cracks in the ceiling, many instances where the workmanship was not 'expert'. In the end, they have you because your house is torn up and you must move forward with the project in order to live.

"In response to member comments we would first like to emphasize that we have been an established company for 20+ years and we strive to satisfy every client's need and desire to provide the best finished product possible. In that 20+ years you will not find with the hundreds of clients we have served and continue to serve that we have delivered a dissatisfied response as such. We were referred to this client who was working under very strict budget constraints and we did everything within our means to stay within deadlines and budget requirements. Throughout the process we consulted with the client about every change, obstacle or constraint that arouse. When the client expressed their dissatisfaction about the cold air and heat return which was consulted with one of our professionals, we agreed to pay the cost to their satisfaction. We did provide professional installation on the flooring and it wasn't until the floors were finished that they complained about the way it was laid. We always have the client view and approve the floor, as should be done, before any finish work is done. This process was done. We did not and would not advise any client to have their hardwood floors finished until after the remodeling process is complete or in the very final phases, as they may become scratched from installation and movement of any remodeling nature. The client made the decision to have the floors finished before that process was complete and so understood their responsibility. We disagree with this client complaint and are saddened that we were unable to please them 100%. It is our goal and intention to do such and we believe this job was completed as any professional would have done within time and budget constraints. As stated before we have not had such a complaint in our many years of service and believe we stand up to our professional name. We allowed the client to make adjustments to the final payment, as that is what they requested when asked what we could do to provide 100% satisfaction. When making that adjustment we fully believe we delivered that satisfaction."

Jim came out on May 22nd and arrived on time. He was very nice and polite while here, but he never followed up. I never received a quote. I called again June 3rd and left a message and have not heard back from them.

Jim did an excellent job installing all the cabinets and bookcases in our computer room (Den). He assisted us in designing the crown molding. He took time and care with the entire installation. He was very interested in doing a good job and pleasing us. He finished while I was at work. I had 2 minor issues for which he came back, after hours, and fixed. Before the installation, he came out to check the job with the cabinet salesperson. At that time, he offered several suggestions and brought up several points about our project that the salesperson had not even thought about. His input helped us get the correct pieces from the cabinet company. Without his input beforehand, the cabinets would not have been ordered correctly. I would definitely hire him again.
