After an issue with another company where their "fix" resulted in a bigger problem than I started with, I reached out to R.A. I wish I would have done this to begin with. Nate was fantastic. He presented a repair option that the prior company did not even mention which ended up saving me over $1000. Nate was professional, competent, friendly, and timely. I highly highly recommend R.A.

I absolutely love them. Most places I called would only install a white toilet which wouldn't work for us. I was pricing all around. They were competitive. They ordered the toilets, got me the upgraded color and did everything and I still paid the same price some other companies wanted for just a white toilet and not as good of a quality. I am really impressed with them. There were two of them and it didn't take very long to complete the job.

RA Guinner was one of the best contractors we've worked with on during the past ten years our quirky little house. Nothing is ever simple with our place, but Frank rolled with the punches, helped us make important choices without time pressure. He brought in a very good partner to work on some complications with a tub.

I have used R.A. Guinner Plumbing for several large jobs in the house I bought earlier this year. I didn't hire them through Angie's List - they were referred to me by a another vendor I used for my garage door before I joined Angie's List. They installed a large laundry/slop sink and faucet, repaired a basement drain clogged with epoxy grout, installed a second basement drain to code for a water heater, repaired the gas line to the water heater, vented the basement bathroom to code (prior owner who installed the bathroom did not do it to code), repaired bathtub faucets and repaired toilets. Not only do they do wonderful work, but they are extremely responsive (I had two basement drain "emergencies" - one on a weekend, which was handled the same day). They are very careful and considerate of their work area and clean up beautifully (two of my jobs were messy and involved digging up concrete and dirt in the basement and one involved drywall removal). The owner - Kevin Kramer - and his staff took time to explain everything to me. I can't say enough good things about R.A. Guinner Plumbing.

Guinner staff is friendly, professional, courteous, considerate of their surroundings and they do great work! They take time to explain problems and solutions/fixes. They do a great job cleaning up after work is done and make sure to wear booties when walking through other areas of the house to keep it clean. They respond quickly and are my go-to for plumbing fixes and problems. I am thrilled with the quality of the work and service.

Absolutely great service! Very professional, punctual, no pressure, and they did exactly as promised. My only negative on them was the price. They were significantly more expensive than some of the other bids, however, their price also included replacing the drywall, which the other bids did not. Because of the convenience of the "one stop shop" and the detailed contract they laid out i felt very comfortable moving forward with them and i was not disappointed. Highly recommend using them for all plumbing needs. Zach, Jessica, and Rich were the people i dealt with and they were all very friendly and responsive.

He showed up right away. Got some tools, fixed it and I was shocked at how little it cost. Pleasant and cheerful. I never thought dealing with a plumber could be a pleasant experience.

We always use Guinner Plumbing. They can generally come the same or next day. The dispatched is very friendly as are the plumbers. Once they repair something, we have no further issues. They have worked on our house and on our rental properties.

Frankie, the plumber arrived on time & showed us where the main water shut-off was, (I was grateful to know this!)
We were informed by someone else that DIDN'T even touch the job yet," that our tub faucet would be probably would need MORE than just washers & would be next to impossible to replace,& it was probably obsolete ( being from 1956), & would be over $600.00 ....(to do just that 1 thing)..... IF he could find another replacable faucet"!!!
WELL, Frankie the Guinner's plumber DID take the faucets off & COULD replace just the washers!! (Without all the drama & $$ that former plumber suggested!
Then he replaced the faucets in the bathroom sink & even told me how to clean out calcium build-up forming in the toilet in same bathroom, which I wasn't aware of.
He was kind & knowledgable, & helpful with lots of needed advice about the plumbing in this old house! .Everything was done in an hour.
We will definitely call Guinner Plumbing again!

We have used this company for probably more than 30 years. They have always been reliable even at our former house. It?s an old house and we had them out to clean the drain at least once a year. We like to continue use them because we have confidence in them and we have known people in the company for many years.

The experience went well. They came in on a Sunday, and solved my problem right away. It was expensive, but I looked it that I was calling them on a Sunday. The main thing was that they made themselves available, they came in, they told me what time they were going to be there, and they called me when they were on their way, they came in, found the problem and resolved it. They cut a hole in the wall, and they cleaned up whatever they could, but they left the hole, and I had to get a contractor to repair the hole, but they took care of the problem. They got it all done pretty quick. I have had no trouble with the work done.

The final result was amazing. Guinner plumbing was very professional and prompt in responding to any calls or concerns I had. Their plumbers were prompt and professional. Rich Guinner was extremely helpful with bathroom ideas and suggestions for what he thought would work or not. He was very trustworthy and helpful. I really appreciated his advice and suggestions.

After doing the work, they needed to repair drywall. After finally showing up to begin repairs, they never returned to finish the wall repairs. Multiple calls were met with excuses. Finally had to hire someone else to repair drywall.

"I appreciate you taking the time to write a review. I am very sorry that your experience was anything but excellent. I take customer reviews and experience very seriously. I did personally review your file and it seems that some of the information is incorrect. We had done several plumbing repairs at your home including the repair of the waste arm behind the sink. The plumbing work and the wall patch were performed as promised. Craig had explained that after the patch had dried it may require some light sanding before painting. If you wanted us to come back and do that, we would return at no charge. Craig tried on several occasions to schedule a time to come back that would work with your schedule. I understand that things come up and you needed to reschedule. When we did not hear back from you, we did make one last phone call to reschedule the appointment once again. Craig was told that you had a family member take care of it and did not need him to come back. I am disappointed that due to one instance/misunderstanding in all of the work that was performed, you feel that your experience warranted an “F” rating in almost every category and a “C” in pricing especially when you were not charged for a separate visit to your home that was not related the original work that was performed. I sincerely hope that if there is something I can personally do to make you feel better about your experience with our company or clarification; you will contact me at 314-752-9850. Back in December, my pipes busted (Niagra Falls) I couldn't get any other company to come for three days. When I called Guinner's, the office staff had mercy on me and found a plumbing technician handling another call in south City. He had to cut and cap a pipe to top the flow. I had them come back yesterday to reconnect the pipe, and address another outdoor faucet that had the original 100 year old plumbing. They also found a pipe that was attached to my kitchen sink that was starting to drip-and fixed that.The techs were prompt, communicated each step of the way regarding what needed to be done and how much it was. The office staff was courteous, compassionate, and great with scheduling. This was a really good experience.
