They are conveniently located from my place. The person who came out was very friendly. They were able to do the work without disturbing my routinely schedule. They were responsive and professional.

During the first flood, we had two companies suggested to us by our insurance company. We had the other company out first and they were priced rather high so we wanted a second estimate. Not only did Puroclean come in cheaper, it was clear that they had more interest in my specific problem. The owner and his son were doing the job for us and started right away. The were very thorough in pulling up the water from the carpet then set up the blowers to dry out the walls or any remaining wet spots in the carpeting. They came back a few times after the initial visit and made adjustments as needed. The first time they were able to dry out all the walls and the carpeting. The second time they were out, they inspected the basement but said we might be better off just using some of our own fans since the walls were not too bad and we were already in the process of pulling up the carpeting. We decided to replace it after the first flood (the carpeting was in bad shape before it flooded and we used it as an excuse to redo the basement. Carpet was usable and no worse than before the first flood). The third time, we had the new carpet down and the flooding was much more widespread (thanks to Ike). The water got into some wall with insulation and we ended up having to cut down about 80% if the walls from the bottom to about 24 inches up. Reet, cut the walls, pulled the insulation, and dried out the carpeting once again. He was able to dry out some of the walls but the insulation getting wet did in most of them. The carpet pad was a total loss. We did have to get a dumpster to get rid of everything. There were a few times where they did not arrive exactly as planned. However, given that I was having this work done when of St. Louis was having similar issues, this was not unexpected and I was happy to be able to have them out at all. They were easy enough to get a hold and they were always very upfront as to why the delay occurred. In addition, they were very flexible in when they could come out and were willing to work extended hours to make sure they could get my job done. The owner is very friendly and enjoyable to work with. I would suggest them to anyone that has similar issues. Although I only had rainwater damage, the company also deals with dirty water clean-ups, mold clean-up and fire damage.
