It went great. They arranged pick up almost immediately. They charged exactly what they estimated. The individual who picked up the panel and returned it also reinstalled it for me. I would absolutely use them again.

Start to finish the project was top notch. Dale Preston was fantastic to work with on my project. He developed full scale drawings of my design and made many good suggestions on glass selections, colors and lead line weight. He installed the glass panels in a turn of the century building where the original openings were not plumb or square. You would never know this in viewing the final results! Everyone involved from Preston Art Glass Sudio was professional. My job was on time, on budget and beyond my expectations.

The person working when I brought my piece in took several minutes to search for a suitable color and texture of glass to replace the broken part of the design. The repair was made so that the piece matches its unbroken mate beautifully. When I came to pick up my glass, the woman on duty added chain so that I can now hang both pieces more securely. She did this while I waited and added a dollar to the cost of the job. I was very pleased with the attention Preston Art Glass gave to my project even though I am certainly a small customer compared to the churches and period homes that use their services. I am very glad to have a resource to turn to for my needs and confidently recommend Preston Art Glass to others.

Our dog broke one of the small glass panels on the sidelight to the left side of our front door. She also clawed off quite a bit of the metal connecting each glass panel. I called around to find someone who could repair this. Two handymen informed me that they didn't do this kind of work. I called a window restoration place. The owner of the window restoration business said he could fix the sidelight but not until the summer. He recommended Preston Art Glass. I emailed Preston Art Glass a photo of the damaged sidelight and asked if they could fix it. I got a prompt response and arranged a time for Dale Preston to come out and remove the sidelight. Dale arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He carefully removed the sidelight. He repaired the sidelight at his shop (it looks better than it did even before it was damaged by the dog) and then returned only a few days later to reinstall it. He also suggested two ways to stop the dog from repeating the damage. I decided to go with a piece fo plexiglass to protect the sidelight. Dale cut and installed the plexiglass to fit over the lower part of the sidelight. I was worried about how the plexiglass would look but from a distance it is not at all noticeable. I'm really pleased with Dale's work and I'm glad he suggested a way to keep the damage from occurring again. Dale's attention to detail and careful work was much appreciated.

I met with them to show them the decor of the rooms where the windows were to go. They drew up a design of the window. We worked together to finalize the design, then I came into the shop to select the various glass pieces that were to be used. The whole process was a pleasure.

Dale came out to my hobby studio and helped me assess the damages resulting from a fire. because the insurance company would not take my word for the cost of repairing my own pieces, he came out to the damaged studio, showed me what to look for on glass damage, and worked up fair bids for what the repairs would cost if he was to perform the repairs at his shop. He is very dedicated artist, and it is so nice to cross paths with people like him.

The installation was completed earlier than scheduled, at a slightly reduced price, and the quality of the work and installation is beyond compare. We are so excited about the work Preston did we are looking for additional places we can add stained glass to our house. I highly recommend Preston Art Glass for any kind of work you have. The company owner was prompt and willing to work with my schedule to come out and do the estimate. His son came out when I actually scheduled the work to remove the window, and later to replace it. They were able to accommodate my time requests for meeting me at the house. The work was done faster than they had told me, and they charged $50 less than the estimate because it went more quickly than they had thought. The window now looks beautiful.

Dale is a pleasure to deal with. He and his son rescued us from some painters who we had hired to re-glaze our windows and paint them. In the process, their grinder scratched and broke several of them, including some of our stained glass. Preston came out in the middle of winter on just a few days notice. They repaired all the damage and finished the window glazing job. They did the job neatly, professionally and with integrity. When we found several months later that some of the windows the painters had already re-glazed were going to need to be redone, Dale offered to teach us how to do it ourselves so we wouldn't be out the additional expense. These folks are one of the my "good guys" that I wanted to share.
