My initial meeting and estimate period went very well. After the contract was signed, the measuring for the Corian went well. When it came time to install, the tile installer did such a poor job that the owner came back and agreed it needed to be redone, which another person was put on that job. The electrician that was to do the under cabinet lighting quit on the spot the first day. The person that stepped in to finish this was not a licensed electrician, I found out later. Before the marble was installed, the owner and I verbally agreed that the work done on the island lower cabinet to make it level was done so poorly, that it would need to be fixed first. That never happened and the marble was installed. I ended up paying for the marble company twice to come out and reset it after the cabinet was finally fixed. The owner had given me a quote for the lighting over the phone. I wrote him a check for that amount and he argued that it was not the correct amount. I never received a written estimate or work/change order. Now, I have paid a certified electrician to come out and fix two outlet boxes that were not working correctly. I also had to hire a plumber to fix the new faucet on the kitchen sink because it had not been installed correctly. I called the owner to request my kitchen cabinet door I had given him for staining purposes be returned. It has never been returned.

Dan offers a very fine cabinet made by Brookhaven. We put these in our kitchen, all bathrooms and the utility area as well. The cabinets are a European-style full-door front w/full extensions which close almost by themselves. He also makes a wonderful cabinet unit w/slide-out drawers almost to any size, which I have in my walk-in pantry; ask to see these. They are fantastic! I love the quality Dan brings. Dan works hard and takes pride in his work and the product he offers. Just be sure to go over & over everything. There are so many sizes, etc., the order can be problematic.
