We have hired Pirozzi Painting for multiple jobs over the past 20 years. Over time they have painted virtually every square inch of our home, inside and out. Pirozzi Painting has a team of trustworthy professionals who carefully prepared all surfaces for painting to make the paint look better and last much longer. Not just a quick scrape or a hose-down with a pressure washer. A traditional home with plaster walls and wood exterior surfaces needs a reliable, highly skilled painting company to help maintain its value, and that's what Pirozzi Painting is. Will hire again when something needs painting!

Mark Pirozzi, owner, first provided us with a written bid and description of the work to be performed with an estimate of starting date. On that date painters began by carefully sanding then power washing all wood trim on house with three applications, as detailed in the contract.. After allowing time to dry, painters applied one coat of primer and two of finish paint. All painting was done with care and skill. Painters were unfailingly courteous and considerate of our needs. Mark Pirozzi visited the job site daily to discuss the work with painters and with us. the only delay in completion of the project was due to rain.

Over the past twelve years, Pirozzi Painting has painted our entire house, inside and out. There have been a couple times when we had rooms painted by another contractor, and found the quality wasn't up to the Pirozzi standard. Now we use Pirozzi exclusively.
I see a couple people have reviewed Pirozzi and gave the pricing a B instead of an A. Pirozzi does A work. If you want A work, don't expect to pay a B price for it. Doing it right is far, far more labor-intensive than just a quick scrape and slapping on a coat of paint. All those painters you will see outside your house giving it TLC have to get paid for their labors. You may not always get what you pay for in this world, but you always pay for what you get. The cheap work available out there doesn't last, so it costs you in the long run anyway. Just ask my next door neighbor about their freshly painted, yet now peeling siding.
Our house is over a hundred years old, so there are some challenges for a painter, such as baseboards and walls sealed together by layers of paint, so the painter has to strike a perfectly straight line with a brush so the baseboard and wall can be two different kinds of paint but there won't be a wavy line between them. No problem, the guy had a hand with a brush like he was a surgeon. There was also a big bulge on a wall where there used to be a coal stove pipe. Pirozzi's guys smoothed that out perfectly.
And, the most common issue of old houses: flaking exterior paint in multiple scaly layers, like alligator skin. It can't just be given a quick hosedown and painted over. That may be what the "College Student Painting" guys do, but it will be flaking off in a year or so. Alligator paint has to be removed down to the bare wood, then primed over and repainted. This will look new, will last for years, and will give a good, smooth base for the next time you paint it. If you care for your old home YOU DO NOT WANT AN AMATEUR doing this work. No, you want only Pirozzi Painting. They are the only painting company I know who can handle old flaky paint like this. As long as they are painting, I'm going with Pirozzi.

The company did a great job. They were fast, professional, and the quality of the work was exceptional. The most impressive thing about Pirozzi, however, was how well they treated us after the work was finished. They painted the house, and a new tenant moved in for only one year. The tentant put holes in almost every wall and really left the house in a mess. We needed to repaint, but wanted to do the work ourselves this time to save money. We called Mark to ask if there was a general paint color they had used on our job. He was able to pull our file and tell me that they had used a custom mix. He took the time to give me the manufacturer and the correct codes for the "paint recipe," which allowed us to go to that Sherwin Williams and order the paint under Pirozzi's name. (That specific paint is only available to contractors.) His willingness to help us when there was little in it for him saved us over $1000. Not only were we happy with the initial work, we were thrilled with the professional, kind way he handled our questions almost 18 months later!

Everything was done in a very professional manner. In preparing the estimate, Mark spent much time going through the house with me asking many questions to make sure he knew what I wanted. He came back at another appointment to clearly explain exactly what would be done and what was included in his bid. All was spelled out - number of doors and windows, radiators, etc. Work was scheduled relatively quickly after I accepted the bid. Painters arrived on time to do the work and they worked hard. Wallpaper in the dining room and kitchen had been up almost 25 years, but they got it all off and sanded and prepped so well that one cannot tell the walls had been papered. Almost all rooms in the 1910 portion of my home had cracks in the ceiling plaster as well as in places on the walls. No evidence of those cracks is now apparent. As promised, my furniture was well cared for and all of their equipment was removed. Clean up was as expected. Progress payments were made, but no initial down payment was required. I am very pleased and highly recommend Pirozzi Painting.

We had to remove them because I caught them smoking pot in the house. They were charging me by the hour for 3 employees. One was painting, the other two were sitting. This went on for months. t was really expensive and very little got done from a day to day basis. I also had some things stolen from the house. I noticed it within a day, he came to pick up his things.

They were extremely professional. Mark brought an amazing portfolio and explained every step that would take place. His crew was really nice and their work was done very thoroughly. We had what I thought was a really tough house to paint(stucco)and they really did an incredible job. We even ended up having outdoor lighting installed because it really is that beautiful.

Professionally prepared proposal. Very detailed and great responsiveness. Outstanding attention to details. They had great regard for my belongings. They cleaned up well after themselves and returned everything back to the way it was prior to work being started. I have and will continue to recommend to others.
