Omega Custom Cabinetry & Millwork

Overall my experience with Art Thomas / Omega Custom Cabinets and should be avoided like the black plague..Art Thomas / Omega Custom Cabinets was contracted to remodel our kitchen. Art provided a contract and computer generated renderings. Contract stated work was to be completed in 5 weeks 16 weeks later job was still incomplete. Contract specified hardwood maple doors and drawer fronts, it was learned from another contractor employed to finish Omegas incomplete job that Art defrauded us here too as he used a composite wood product instead of hard wood. Additionally, Art did not manufacture all cabinets as stated in contract. The counter top had wrong edge contract called for no drip. Art said Wilson Art High Def laminate could be be fabricated in a no drip profile. Wilson Art was contacted by myself and I was informed Art's statement was false. I could go on in length about the inferior workmanship as well, but with what purpose when a contractor intentionally defrauds a customer that is reason enough to avoid them at all cost. This customer has done everything possible to reasonably settle this issue with Omega and Art Thomas. A report was filed with the Better Business Bureau and Omega was offered the opportunity to settle via an independent mediator Omega refused. Omega has also failed to respond to Angie's List attempt to resolve this issue.
