Paul and his crew refinished our first floor - about 1500+ sq ft. We had a difficult floor to refinish, but they took it on and WOW! The bid was very competitive, and the work was outstanding. They were punctual, clean, and very thorough in completing the job. I interviewed 3-4 companies for the job, and Paul was the only one to explain the process in detail - he then followed up with a timely quote and bill of materials. In my humble opinion, they are one of the premier floor care companies in the area.

We had three bids. Paul was the middle bid but he worked the hardest to get the job. He came to the house twice to show us grades of wood and the price difference. He left us a bundle of wood we chose so we could start looking at stains. He got permission for us to see a floor he was installing at that time. His crew Rob and Jeff showed up on time ( always a plus ) and treated our home with respect. We could not be happier with our floor and the way we were treated!

They did a great job, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after. It took 3 days to complete the main floor areas. They have a lot of pride in their work and it shows.

Next Generation did an adequate job refinishing our floors in general, but damaged the home and had a surly employee. They broke a window in a patio door, and did eventually pay for it to be replaced, but also scratched up a Pergo floor that we weren't refinishing, and they wouldn't take responsibility for that. They also had a very rude employee, who tried to convince me to sand down and refinish pine stair boards, and sanded lead paint into the air in an attempt to show me how it would look. I had him removed from the job. The price was very favorable. The head of the company was great, and did take responsibility for the work.

Everyone I worked with was professional and friendly. They gave me a quote that was significantly less than many other quotes I had received. I am very pleased with the results! Getting your wood floors re-done can be frustrating and messy! However, all staff I interacted with were helpful and I had very little dust to deal with at the end of the day. For the amount of time (3 days) and the quality of the work, I feel like it was a real value! Try these guys.....they may not be the company with all the advertising dollars but I don't think you'll be disappointed!

The refinish was horrible. There was puddling of the product. They had to completely re-do the kitchen. I was very unhappy with their service. The person who answered the phone was also very rude.

Terrible. The finish is horrible, the floor is coming up from the subfloor. Large gaps were left in the flooring. The owner, Paul Werner, agreed that it needed to be repaired(I have his emails confirming this), but he blamed the manufacturer of the adhesive that he used to attach the wood to the subfloor. He swore to "sell properties" he owned, but he said he would get it fixed; it has been 10 months and we have the same defective floor. He cut out sections of the floor to "find out what went wrong", but they were never repaired. He has never fixed the floor and we have initiated legal action. The floor has been inspected by the National Wood flooring association and they concluded there were numerous installation errors. Several flooring experts have confirmed that the new floor, we paid him 63,000 for, needs to be replaced. There was extra wood flooring left over from the job valued at approx. $3000 that Mr. Werner has never returned.

I have been singing the praises of Next Generation Hardwood Floors. I took bids from three companies and chose Next Generation based on their competitive price, customer satisfaction reports, and their offer of $50 savings to Angie's List members. Plus, I felt a great sense of confidence inspired by Ron, the salesman. He was very patient and helpful in explaining the process and my options. The workmen, Allen and Kyle, did a masterful job and were courteous and pleasant. Pat (in the office) was very friendly and responsive; she kept me updated every step of the way. There was one minor glitch related to staining the molding to match the floor (which revealed itself to be so beautiful I decided to simply seal it without stain). The small problem was quickly resolved to my complete satisfaction.

THE MEN WHO DID THE JOB WERE VERY POLITE, PUNCTUAL AND VERY HELPFUL. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB OF MINIMIZING DUST AND CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES. I WILL MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND LEFT. I DIDN'T BOND WITH THEM.
