Superb customer service. They spent a ton of time to help me a find a ring and diamond I would love. The owners son helped and he was an absolute pleasure. I felt no pressure to spend a certain amount of money, and was shown diamonds that were in a range of value. They worked hard to show me diamonds, listening carefully to what I liked and didn't like and adjusting what they showed me based on really listening and getting to know what I was looking for. I couldn't speak higher of my experience. My ring is stunning, and I receive compliments on it all the time. Truly the best customer service I have received.

My expectations were far exceeded - it's absolutely perfect! (She cried when I presented it to her, if that's any indication.)

I had a sterling ring that needed to be resized down so much that it might be damaged, and selected Moritz Reusch based upon Angie's LIst reviews. I know that any jeweler can resize a ring, but this one needed a little extra skill. John Reusch agreed that removing part of the shank and reshaping the ring risked damaging it, and suggested a much simpler, and cheaper, alternative: adding a ring guard. It was the right option, but not one that would have occurred to me. They didn't make much money on me this time, but I will go back. Certainly honest, and the jewelry on display looked awfully nice as well. The quality of the jewelry might be matched elsewhere, but I was impressed by the quality of the jeweler.

The staff was pleasant and helpful, and took pains to make sure i got what i wanted. The work was done in what i considered very good time, and turned out just beautiful. I feel that the price i paid was quite fair for the quality of the finished products, especially the fee for the pearl restringing.

Service with a smile and expertise. They took my bezel-set diamond rings and converted them into a traditional setting. Their prices were substantially less than others I contacted, and they even gave me a surprisingly generous credit for keeping the gold from the former setting. They expressed no concern about the complexity of the two necklaces I brought in that were combinations of pearls and stones in a Y-shape, and indeed the repair expert said she thought the project would be fun. They did inexpensive repairs on two gold chains. Finally, I broke the rope on a glass hanging display (like something you would hang in your backyard), and they even restrung that too although it isn't jewelry. They have a range of new jewelry to sell, at what seem like very reasonable prices. I've been there about 4 times now, and would go back there again and again.

Service and quality of the work was great. I have the rings in a very quick turnaround. Price was also reasonable for the work done.

The repair was perfect. The new shank looked original. It matched the ring perfectly. Even wth the really high magnifier I could not tell the shank had been replaced. I don't know if the price was the best I could have gotten anywhere else because I've never had a ring shank replaced before. But, It did not seem out of line to me considering the workmanship, not to mention the price of gold being sky-high these days. The repair did not take long either. I think it was only about a week -maybe even slightly less. The only minor quibble I have is that I let them know my girlfriend's finger is exactly a size 7 and the new shank was slightly larger. Perhaps a 7-1/4, so it fits her a little loosely. They told me that if it was a problem I could bring it back and they would reduce the size at no cost. However, my girlfriend is happy with it so I'm leaving well enough alone.

I have had three pieces of jewelry (handed down from my grandmother and great grandmother) in my safe deposit box since the 1980's and the last appraisals are also from the 1980's. Decided I needed an updated appraisal and found Moritz Reusch Jeweler through Angie's List. I called for an appointment and was immediately set up for the appraisal with Stacy, G.I.A. Diamonds and Colored Stones Graduate. Stacy advised me, when I called for the appointment, of the appraisal fee per each piece. Since I had a detailed earlier appraisal (from the 1980's), my appaisal fee per item would be less.
I also requested that I be present for the entire appraisal. That request was no problem. When I arrived for the appraisal, I was 'buzzed in' and escorted to Stacy's private office. I watched while she weighed, measured etc the jewelry while she explained to me what she was doing. She found many (unknown to me) details which included that one of the rings was hand made which added to its value, plus a new recount of the number of stones, and quality of some of the stones. Also found out that one of the rings was circa late 40s or 1950's. I had thought all the jewelry was 1920's Art Deco. Stacy took time to explain to me the difference between replacement cost and actual fair market value. During the entire appraisal, Stacy was very easy going and warm, as well as professional. When I left her office, I took the jewelry with me and returned it to my safe deposit box. Within 7 to 10 days, received the official appraisal in the mail. Stacy had attached a hand written note stating she had doubled and tripled checked for accuracy. That was because the replacement cost since the 1980's appraisal had increased by approximately 400 percent.
This was a very good experience!

i brought my engagement ring to be soldered to my wedding band. upon inspection of the center diamond, it was noticed that there were 3 cracks at the edges; the owner asked me and my husband to look at the diamond under the scope personally so that we could see for ourselves and took alot of time explaining the option for repair. ultimately the diamond was sent to a cutter to repair the cracks so that the damage wouldn't worsen. we lost minimal points using the cutter that this jeweler used! once the diamond was repaired, it was reset and my rings soldered together. the diamond being damaged could have potentially really upset me; however, i thought that everyone there did a very professional job of explaining things to me, and assisting me in the decisions regarding whether or not to fix, and this kept me calm! also, i was kept well informed of the timeline and cost. i thought that given the need to repair the diamond, solder the rings, repolish and do an appraisal, the total cost (just under $400) was well worth it! they are out of the way to reach, but trust me, their professional, knowledgeable staff will make you glad that you made the effort to find them! i will be buying items from them in the future most certainly and would definitely use them again for any repair or remake work.

John Reusch has been our jeweler for a long time. His pieces are of the highest quality. I would not waste my money going somewhere else -- his jewelry is really that outstanding. He helps my husband design pieces, too, and has helped me do the same . Honest people. Great jewelry. Great prices. Happy me.

From the time I pulled into the parking lot I had a good vibe. I was worn down after spending the whole day diamond shopping. I had heard so many sales pitches and seen many diamonds. I was a bit taken back by the ease of the place. They are located inside the Uclub tower on Brentwood Blvd. They have a small display, nothing impressive. I was taken into an office to meet with a diamond specialist, Stacy. Wow was she great. She and her helper Kate, listened to me. I told them what I wanted, how much we had to spend etc. She wasted no time in having a selection of Round diamonds to view. Where as I had been told at places all day, to tell them what I am looking for and they can bring anything in. Stacy went to the next room and returned with options. The Cut Color Clarity Carot conversation was had and I had SO many choices in my price range. I fate found me at Moritz, in their safe, my perfect diamond. It was just the right size, just the right everything all around. We found a setting I LOVED. My Fiance and I picked it up after it had been sized and It was BEAUTIFUL all put together. Stacy taught me about maintance and care. Each time we go back in for a check up, making sure nothign is loose, we have purschased something else. Someone is doing soemthing right! The two side guards I got were amazing. It was a year apart each one and they were able to contact the designer of the first one and get a second one! Lucky me! I have taken in other items for repair now and feel good to know I have a good realtionship for all our future needs!
