Modern Exteriors-The Replacement Window Company

Found this company on the internet, representative name Ron Thiemann showed up at the house on time. Was politely asked to remove his shoes with an explanation that we have a small crawling infant in the house. Was visibly unhappy with the request. Looking at the "hinged" patio door he said this isn't a patio door this is just a rear entry door, and I need to go back out to the car to bring the right book. I asked him to also look at the windows that needed replacing which were historical arch windows. He Flat out said "they don't make that, unless you want to pay $5000 for it and you have two of them". In between he squeezed in "I am slipping and sliding on this floor" and later he added "I have to put my shoes on this floor is too cold accompanied with the complaint about the windows being on the third floor. I asked him to simply just call it a day and leave if he needed to walk in my house with shoes on. He said "the installers would need to keep their shoes on", but he wasn't an installer; he was a rather poor/lousy sells person. After I asked him to leave he decided to shed the chip on his shoulder and asked me if I was looking for a window for $189, and how historic window could cost in the range of $1250 each. I didn't care about the the $189 window as it is clear that it's just a bait. I just wanted a new patio, rear entry door and windows that match my house. It was already too late, I wouldn't get windows from him even if it was FREE! My impression of him, grumpy old man. I am glad I didn't go with the company.
