Meyer Bedding

Not so good. I bought a queen mattress last year and was happy. But I went back to them to order a box spring to go with it. They took my order and my money, now I can't contact them. I've called and stopped by. But there is no one around. A sign on their door says 'closed due to a death in the family.' I was hoping they meant temporarily closed, but it's been 2 months now. I think they are closed for good.

Based on just two years of life from mattress not well.

The bed came on time and was exactly what I wanted. When it was delivered, one of the gentleman told me to sit on the sofa and they would take care of everything, and they did. I was very happy with the bed and the service.

The price was on target and the quality is superb. The delivery guys came as expected and we're friendly and prompt to set up. We've been sleeping on these mattresses for over 4 months and they are wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone

This is the second mattress we have purchased from Meyer Bedding . Your money is much better spent here than on one of the name brand mattresses offered by on line companies . With all the hype and model name changes advertised on line and TV  it is nice to buy a mattress where you can see how it is made and is two sided as well for flipping over.

I decided to use this mattress company as I didn't want to go to a store with a multitude of mattress to choose from and I wanted low key selling and easy parking.  I parked across the street from the building and there was just one small showroom.  Not a fancy showroom but   what was there was enough to make a decision on a inner spring mattress(flipable).  There was one salesman who was friendly and considerate of my disability and explained the different kinds of mattresses they sell.  I wanted a comfortable mattress for the spare bedroom for visitors.  I got a new frame as the frame was very old as well as the mattress.  The frame and mattress is guaranteed for 10 years. I didn't ask about the warranty and I guess I should have but the mattress was for a spare bedroom.  My sister came to visit for 5 days and slept on the bed.  She said she loved it and told me to sleep on it myself and see. I  told her the salesman told me my sister wouldn't want to leave after sleeping on it.  She said she and her husband are going to be looking for a mattress in a year or so and if they didn't live in Houston, Texas they would probably check this company out.  The only problem I had was they forgot to deliver the mattress and frame at 10:30AM.  But they more than made up for the mistake by delivering it by 11:15AM.  I called at 10:30 AM to see when they were coming and that is when I found out they forgot.  They quickly got busy and got the mattress loaded and delivered in no time.  The delivery man was also the salesman.  This is old fashioned sales and what many stores need to to develop and understand people appreciate custom care as well as custom made mattresses. I would strongly recommend that you at least visit the store and see for yourself.  There is no heavy pressure sales and I guess this is one reason why they have been in business since the 1900.

We are happy that they offer custom mattresses and offer the older style mattress.

Fourth & fifth mattresses purchased from Meyer since 1982. Excellent quality. Extremely well-made and great padding and quality at a price that can't be beat. All while supporting local economy. We had debated for quite a while on what we would replace our mattress with. In the end, decided that air mattresses had the divider that would be an issue for us. All memory foam beds had many complaints about being too hot and their quality lessened in just a few years and continued to decline. We finally went with the Meyer spring beds, solid as can be with very nice, thick padding. We then added a good quality memory foam topper to it. It's wonderful! We sink in just enough for cloud comfort (3" pad). Also, when the pad gets mushy, we can just purchase another pad and still have our wonderful mattress beneath. They really last! Couldn't be more pleased.

Great, I went over to the office and they had examples of the inside construction of the beds. Tested out the beds and ordered mine. They construct their own beds. The bed was done within a few days. Free delivery and set up (carried it to a second floor). They even took my old mattress out for me and said they donate them to Catholic Charities. The quality and comfort of the bed is excellent.

Delivered and hauled away old mattress and box springs. Very professional company and small enough to discuss mattress details with the manufacturer as opposed to a salesperson. Very reasonable price for quality of mattress.

The mattress I ordered was ready exactly when it was promised and delivered at my convenience and on time. Scott was extremely courteous and helpful.

The mattress that they made was every bit as good as the well-known brands. It was a terrific value for the price. They came to our home and measured the bed first. Then, we went to their showroom to test the different types they make. Lastly, they delivered it within a short period of time. I called them back because it seemed too snug in the length, and they came back out, took it back to the shop and cut it down a little. When they brought it back, it fit fine and they didn't charge us any more. You don't have to order just custom sizes but can get standard sizes also. They are nice, professional, and they stand by their work.
