MARK'S RELIABLE TREE & LAWN SERVICE

It was my first experience using tree service and I don't think that I knew the right questions to ask. He did not do quite what I thought he was going to do. They did a very good job however. They made sure to clean up after themselves very well. They were expensive.

Mark showed up and cut down the three trees (2/15), but he never came back to grind the stumps. I called him (3/2) and he said the belt was broken on his grinder and he said he would be out and I never heard from him again (that was 5 weeks ago). Once I submitted the report, I actually finally heard back from him. He apologized profusely and I allowed him to finished the work.

We had several estimates. We were impressed with the positive comments that they had on Angie's List. He had a good price. We thought that the duration of the bid collection and scheduling was inefficient. He was poor in communication when it came to scheduling our job. All work that he did was good and the clean up was thorough. There was an altercation with him and an employee in our front yard that involved yelling and bad language.

He came promptly to give an estimate which was the lowest I had received. Tree trimming was done in a timely fashion. They were professional, pleasant, completed the job to my satisfaction and cleaned up after.

Mark's Reliable Tree Service was less expensive than other companies. The work was done on time and cleared away as promised. Mark was knowledgeable about the work to be done and friendly.

The customer service has been great. They are very friendly and professional. They have been easy to work with. They are coming out to do the work soon.

I found Mark's Reliable Tree Service on Angie's List, and I emailed him. He called a few days later and we played phone tag for about a week, but we were able to set up a time to meet and look at the tree. Mark showed up on time and asked what we needed done. I told him what I wanted and he said, "Oh, that will only be about $80," so I said, "Great, sign me up." Then I asked about several other trees in my back yard. There is one that leans a bit, and I was worried about it, but he said it was solid, and that maybe I might want to have it cleaned up (take some smaller branches off) in a year or two, but it was fine. He clearly wasn't trying to sell me services I didn't need. He told me it would be several weeks before he can fit me in. With all the rain, it took about a month, but Mark showed up and took down the branches and loaded them in his truck. It didn't take much time at all. He was really friendly, and he answered all of my questions without hurrying me at all.

I was looking for a tree service on Angie s list, called 3 and got 2 quotes, Marc s was half the price of his competitor, so I chose him. He announced his coming, was punctual, arrived with an employee, did the sawing and cutting and promised to come again later in the week for the removal of everything, because he had accepted more urgent obligations before he agreed to work for us. That was fine, he arrived when promised, removed everything, was friendly and professional. I was only worried about the two men not wearing hard hats, otherwise well equipped and good working attitude. I paid agreed sum immediately after the job was done, by check.

Very punctual and gave the estimate on the day of the call. Came the next day around 10, cut the limbs, cleaned up the area, and hauled them away when he was done. Very professional and courteous.

Talked to him on 12/18. He said he would go by and call me with an estimate, but did not.

Generally, very well, only negative: work was not done as promptly as I expected. Partially due to bad weather conditions.

He had skill & carefulness.
