It was fine. There were no additional charges. They were definitely willing to take more money for any additional service. They weren't able to clean everything because they were working for this much time. I didn't think that they worked efficiently. The clock ran and they were done. If I would have been really impressed, I would have them come back and I didn't. I felt like they were wasting time. They left their binder in my house. They had to come back to get it. I wasn't impressed.

It went really well and we continued to use them. They cleaned our home once a month, and we used them regularly for about a year. They are great to work with. We had scheduled them to clean our house and I went into labor; they came early to make sure the house was clean to receive out of town guests. That was impeccable customer service. I know they changed owners and we haven't had need to use them since the change of ownership.

She came and she was a nice person and got the work done. It was an adequate cleaning, but not good enough to use them on a weekly basis. In the end, it didn't end up being as good as my regular housekeepers.

They were very organized and focused on their tasks.  My main cleaning focus was on the main bathroom, kitchen and living room.  They started with the bathroom (desperately needed attention) - after they were done - it sparkled.  Moved onto the kitchen, wiped down wood cabinets, cleaned and disinfected all surfaces, dusted all free standing furniture in the kitchen; buffet, display case, table and chairs.  All floors were washed and disinfected.  They worked so efficiently and fast that they were able to do a couple extra things; vacuum and wipe down fireplace brick and mantle and washed dining room hardwood floor.  They made the experience very comfortable.  I appreciated all their hard work because my house looked great.  So great that I can now have my family over and expound on my excellent house cleaning skills (sorry, girls for stealing your thunder)!!

"We really wanted to understand what went wrong with the first cleaning session, and as the customer pointed out, it did take some time to coordinate a re-clean with a different team member. My wife and I, who are the local owners of the Maidpro that serviced this customer were very appreciative of her patience in working with us. We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and we were thrilled that the customer was happy with the results of the re-clean, and the Service Provider who performed the work. It's always great to have a perfect result the first time every time, but it's equally rewarding to work with an understanding customer and, when given the opportunity, show them that you back up your promise. We couldn't do it without the high integrity of the Angie's list customers, though."

Bob and Apple Volpe run the MaidPro Crestwood housecleaning service. I cannot recommend using their services. After rescheduling a Monday, March 25 appointment, we agreed on the following Friday, March 29 at 12 noon. There were to be 3 workers cleaning for four hours, totaling 12 man hours, so as to honor of the deep cleaning request. I shortened my previous appointment to be on time. MaidPro workers were not on time. At 1:00 pm I called Apple, owner of MaidPro, to see what was going on. It was explained to me that a firm time could not be given because employees never know what they might encounter on a job and couldn't leave until they were finished. I explained that we agreed upon a 12 noon start time and that I made arrangements to be there on time. Apple then told me the help was on the way and would be there any minute. Unfortunately they were late a second time. I waited until 1:30 pm and still, no one had arrived. I called Apple again and things started to get unpleasant. Eventually one employee showed up and I wondered where the other two employees were. I called apple again and she said they would arrive around 3:30 pm and stay until 4:00 pm. I said that's not what we agreed on and eventually all communication broke down. She didn't seem to want to take responsibility for any actions saying that her employees could leave at 4:00 pm as scheduled. This was not acceptable to me so she told me she couldn't talk with me anymore and said her partner would give me a call. I received a call from Bob and we tried to straighten things out. After much debate we agreed that the help could leave at 5:15 pm and service would continue the next day in order to finish the job. By the way, the other two employees arrived at 3:30 pm. In spite of all the compromising and negotiating I participated in things escalated and ended badly. The employees walked off the job without finishing the work so needless to say I cannot give MaidPro a positive review or recommend them to anyone else. I reported the incident to Angie's List and they agreed to find a suitable housecleaning service that is trustworthy and reliable. There were no charges.

"Regarding the cleaning for (member name removed), it is difficult to understand the chronology of events as they unfolded by reading his review, as the review is a bit convoluted and very inaccurate. However, we did arrive at his home approximately one hour past the initial estimated arrival time given to (member name removed), and we neglected to notify (member name removed) of our delayed arrival, so this issue is a legitimate complaint and we (my wife, myself, and Maidpro) take personal and professional responsibility for causing (member name removed) the inconvenience of having to wait without the courtesy of being updated as to a new arrival time. Maidpro’s company policy states that we have a 2-hour arrival window which provides us flexibility if we have to spend more time on a housecleaning prior to the next home for any reason. The problem arose when our policy was not published on our Angie’s List Big Deal, and compounded when we did not inform (member name removed) of the policy prior to service. From that point forward, my wife and I both attempted to placate (member name removed) and compensate him for his inconvenience. (member name removed) and my wife mutually agreed to add 3 extra man-hours to this first clean as partial compensation for our late arrival. When I contacted him, I expressed my sincere apologies to (member name removed) that we had not been more communicative, and at that point, he mentioned that the Service Provider was doing an excellent job. After my conversation with (member name removed), it became clear that our staff of Service Providers (now 3, as my wife had sent 2 others to assist in the 7-hour extended service) did not feel safe and/or comfortable at the home of (member name removed), who, even after a 45 minute conversation with me, was still very upset and vocal. He gave them an ultimatum ending with “….if you don’t like it, you can leave”. Well, they left, which did not accomplish either of our goals; ………..(member name removed) wanted his home cleaned, and we wanted to please a customer. Since that time we have made several attempts, with assistance and guidance from the Angie’s List CSR’s to find a solution to fulfill (member name removed)'s needs, including a face-to-face meeting in his home at (member name removed)'s request to attempt a resolution. At that time I asked (member name removed) if there was any reasonable offer that would result in a better outcome. His response was a resounding “NO!” Why I was asked there for a meeting, I’m still not sure. As an aside, Maidpro has accepted no payment from Angie’s List (or any other person/entity) for servicing (member name removed)'s home. In all, we provided 6 hours of cleaning and finished everything except one room. Since this clean, along with the next 2 have been “gifted” to (member name removed) by Angie’s List, he was not being charged for anything. The irony then, of receiving an “F” grade in the price category when (member name removed) has not paid anything for the service is puzzling to say the least. I am sorry that we were not able to satisfy this customer’s needs. I do feel however, that we have exhausted all reasonable efforts and have gone well beyond any reasonable expectations in our striving to please this customer."

I contacted Maid Pro for an appointment.  I was offered an appt in just 2 days of my call.  That didn't work for my Mom and they worked with me until we found a date that was good for her.  The woman who cleaned arrived right on time, was very friendly and professional.  My Mom was very happy with the results.

I have a regular housecleaner that comes every three weeks, but due to unforeseen circumstances she informed me that she  would not be available for some time. Weeks earlier I had received a lovely flyer on my door from Maidpro, which prompted me to visit their website.
Their website and flyer looked very comprehensive and professional, and they certainly had all the information I could ask for, so I called and spoke to Apple, the local owner here in St. Louis. She was very nice, and after going through the formalities, I decided to try Maidpro out, if even just for a short time.
The girls arrived uniformed, super-friendly, and got straight to work. I have to say, they also stayed past the time that we had agreed upon to finish the job by almost one hour to make sure they didn't miss a thing! After they cleaned up and left, I saw the checklist that they had left for me to review their work, just as the owner, Apple had told me in our conversation.
Well, those girls cleaned places I didn't even know needed cleaning! I thought my kitchen cabinets were in good shape, but they were super clean after Maidpro. My baseboards looked brand new and the whole house sparkled. I appreciated the attention to detail.

When I hired the Maidpro staff to clean my house, I expected them to tidy my already spotless home before I entertained
both family and friends, as I usually do. Admittedly, I didn't use a housecleaning service, always doing the work myself, and my guests always remarked how clean and orderly my home was. 
What a pleasant surprise then, (and admittedly, a little embarrassing) to find the Maidpro girls with dirty towels after cleaning my kitchen cabinets, which now had a definite shine to them, and my home had a noticeable crisp and clean look and smell. They left me a nice note, and a comprehensive checklist to examine the completeness of their work, which while reassuring, was unnecessary after I took a moment to look around. Even the baseboards were cleaned!
I am left very impressed by the punctuality, professionalism, and friendliness of the cleaners, and the follow-up by the owner the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the cleaning.
