They were open on the 4th of July which was a convenient shopping day for us. They said that that was the best sale of the year and they came through on all their promises. Their communication was fine.

See above. Their warehouse has no clue what it is doing! I finally talked to a supervisor and informed him that whatever they shipped, I would keep. and quot;I'm done with Macy's,and quot; I told him. Therefore, I am stuck with three pairs of pants that are the wrong size.
In addition to the pants fiasco, I had ordered a purse (as a gift) on the same order. Before I placed the order online, I CALLED their customer service because I wanted to be certain that the purse included the umbrella and coin purse. The agent assured me that it did. Well, the purse arrived -- no umbrella and no coin purse. They ultimately sent me an umbrella which didn't match the purse and gave some credits back to my card for the purse, umbrella and coin purse.
All in all, though the customer service reps were all polite and tried to be helpful, the experience with my first online purchase from Macy's has convinced me NEVER to do it again. I ended up spending countless time trying to explain and have them correct their repeated errors. It's just not worth it to deal with such a disorganized online company.

Great. They actually had the price wrong on the stand next to the furniture and they gave it to us for that price!

Anne Tierney was our sales associate and she was very helpful. She answered all of our questions regarding the sofa and she helped ensure we got the best price possible. The sofa was delivered when they said it would be. The only problem we had was a broken zipper on one of the sofa cushions; however, a replacement cushion was brought out to us. We are very happy with the sofa.
