We had a good experience. The quality of work was pretty good. They were very responsive. They were here when they said they'd be here. They were very professional and very friendly.

Appliance Sale
Another company recommended Lowes, and were good enough to let us know we could get it quicker and cheaper from Lowes. They even helped us arrange the delivery and everything, but ultimately it came from Lowes and we paid Lowes. We're always careful shoppers, And we needed it immediately. We haven't had any trouble with it so the quality was an A. Who works with other stores like that?

There was a bit of a glitch because the third floor carpet had a problem but they were actually very good about it. They informed us about the problem and said that it was not going to be easy. So they had to re-order the carpet. They were nice enough to send a better carpet and installing it. They helped us with the furniture as well.

It was a quick and easy process picking out the washer and dryer, the help as Lowes was wonderful, ordering easy and the installers were quick and prompt.

Overall, things went pretty well. We did our research and knew what we wanted before we walked in. The appliance salesmen was very helpful and we got everything we needed. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, the pedestals drawer front was cracked. But the remainder of the installation was fine. We later decided that we did not want the pedestal, so we went back to the store and got a refund.

Ryan called me the next day and informed me that no one had gotten back to him and he would call me the next day. It has been three weeks. I have called and left messages for Ryan, and I have not received a phone call.

After tracking a sales person down, he couldn't help me find a 15' wide carpet that would be good for a bedroom. I went through the samples and found one I liked. I tracked him down again, and he did a measure order. The installer was supposed to call within 48 hours to set up the measure. I didn't get a call, so I called Lowes a few days later. After checking, they discovered that the installer was closed all week for vacation. They re-assigned the install, and two days later they called to set up the measure. It took a few days for the measurement to get to Lowes. I went back, waited while the one salesperson on the floor taught a class on flooring install. When I finally got a quote on the carpet, the install was double what I expected. Turns out Lowes has a minimum $280 install charge and doesn't disclose that when you ask for a measure of one room. I felt that they were deceptive. They had awful service, and I chose to purchase elsewhere.

It took six weeks to receive our cabinets (as promised), and after they were installed (I was not home)I discovered that two of them were not what we had ordered. We asked for drawers, but the two cabinets had false fronts instead. When I called, I was told that drawers are not available for cabinets under 12' in depth. However, the salesperson had repeatedly assured us that we could order drawers for these reduced-depth cabinets. In fact, we made a special visit to the store to verify this, and after checking her computer system she assured us that they were available. Lowe's has agreed to reorder and reinstall the two end cabinets, and to put a rush on the order, but the result is that our project will be delayed by 3 weeks. We were not offered any kind of a discount for the inconvenience.

MIKE WAS TERRIFIC. HE WAS IN ALL THREE TIMES WE WENT TO THE STORE FOR INFORMATION, GAVE US ALL THE INFORMATION WE NEEDED, AND DID NOT TRY TO ''HARD SELL'' US. HE COULD TELL THAT WE WERE DOING A LOT OF COMPARISON SHOPPING (AMONG HIS BRANDS AND WITH OTHER STORES), AND WAS VERY PATIENT IN ANSWERING OUR QUESTIONS. WHEN WE FINALLY DECIDED TO BUY FROM LOWE'S, HE ENSURED OUR PAPERWORK WAS FILLED OUT PROPERLY AND WENT WITH US TO THE CASH REGISTERS TO MAKE SURE THE TRANSACTION THERE WENT SMOOTHLY. OUR APPLIANCES ARRIVED ON TIME, AND WE'RE PLEASED TO GET REBATES ON THE ITEMS AND THE DELIVERY.
