We've taken our dogs to stay with Jane several times.  She treats them like her own.  They are happy and not at all stressed out when we go to pick them up.  Jane is good about letting us know how everyone is doing during their stay.  She also has checked on our cats when we have been out of town.  She leaves a written record of when she visits them and what she does on the visits. We recommend her and will use her services again!

I highly recommend her service.  I needed a last minute sitter and Jane made it work!  She was wonderful, texting pictures and notes and also keeping a log of daily visits.  She even changed the battery in my smoke detector!  My animals seemed very happy and well cared for when I returned.

She's very good.  She has pets of her own, and our dog gets along well with her animals.  Our dog jumps out of the car and runs up to the house when we arrive; that's how we know he likes it there.

I called Jane to discuss scheduling and pricing.  She sent me forms to complete for each pet.  We scheduled a home visit at which she met the pets, and we went over everything in detail.  She took notes on my instructions as we talked.  I also left her written notes on the table.  While we were out of town, she came over as scheduled.  She left us notes everyday about how things went.  She also sent us text messages about the pets while we were out of town.  Everything was in perfect order when we returned.  The mail was inside, and the pets were comfortable and at ease, like we had never left!  Thanks so much Jane!

She is very good and home most of the time with the dogs. The dogs aren't caged while in her care. Her price is comparable to others and I would highly recommend her to others.

We have a total of six cats and dogs.  When we come back the dogs act very well adjusted so we know they are getting enough attention and not just a drive by.  She knows our pets by name, and it's very convenient to use them whenever we need them.  Their price is very reasonable too.

Love My Pet served us as pet sitters for several years before we bought a house.  We used them at least from 2002 - 2009 during Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  Our cat at the time was a very feisty and unfriendly calico.  Our pet sitter had the experience and professionalism to carry out the basic care duties without being frightened.  Seriously, I loved my cat but she was a terror with other people. 
The owner of the company lived very close to our first apartment so it was very convenient for everyone.  After we moved to the county and father away from the owner she was able to find another sitter on her crew that could work with us. 
I highly recommend Love My Pet for all your pet sitting needs. 

We have been utilizing Love My Pet services for approximately 4 years.  Company owner is nice and responsive to phone calls/requests for services, but always seems kind of disorganized when I talk to her on the phone.  However, there have never been any errors with our pet sitting dates and the cats have always received care on their designated days.  The actual pet sitter (who is not the compay owner) who comes to our home has varied several times, though we usually have the same person, so long as she is available on the dates we need her.  I like having a consistent sitter, as it helps our cats feel more comfortable and more likely to come out and get the attention they need.  Sometimes the cats have been overfed while we've been gone (enough that they were visibly fatter when we returned) and though it is better than them being underfed, it has been a slight concern because its bad for kitty's health and attitude to gain weight and then have to lose it. The cost for pet sitter is $20 per day for watching our 2 cats.  The cost might seem a little high, for example, compared to having a neighbor kid provide the service.  But neighbors aren't as dependable (the 16-year-old neighbor kid  "forgot" to feed the cats for a day :( ).  So, I feel the price for Love My Pet is fair and about the going rate for such services.  Overall, we've had a postive experiences with Love My Pet.

Ellie was my cat sitter, and she went above and beyond. I had only moved to the house the week before, and the cats were still stressed about the move. One of them hid and wouldn't come out for food. Ellie came back the next day several hours before her scheduled visit to put food in the bedrooms and close the doors to try to figure out where he was hiding. When she returned, the food in the master bedroom was gone. So, for the rest of the days she made two visits instead of one, in order to make sure my shy kitty ate. If she had just left food out for him w/o closing doors, the other two cats would have eaten it right away. She also gave one cat his pill every evening without any trouble. She didn't charge me for the extra visits she made, and to top it off, she left me a small housewarming gift! I was nervous about having a stranger come to care for my cats, but I couldn't be happier with Ellie's professionalism and care.

I emailed Jane at Love My Pet, 2 weeks prior to my trip. She responded promptly to let me know that she was available to watch my kitties. I left a note detailing what I wanted her to do each time she came. When I returned from my trip, my cats were all calm and happy - not crazy like they had been alone for a long time. The food and water dishes were about 1/2 full and the toys that I use to play with the cats were all out and had been used in my absence. An invoice was left for me and I paid it immediately.

WE HAVE USED LOVE MY PET FOR 5+ YEARS AND DURING THAT TIME HAVE HAD 4 PET SITTERS. THE FIRST SITTER WE REALLY LIKED BUT HE LEFT THE COMPANY ON BAD TERMS AND MUCH DRAMA ENSUED. THE SECOND SITTER WE LOVED. THE THIRD SITTER WAS INITIALLY OK, BUT HER SERVICE DECLINED AND WE ASKED FOR A NEW SITTER. THE FOURTH AND FINAL SITTER HAS BEEN PRETTY GOOD, BUT WE'VE ONLY USED HER TWICE. IN GENERAL, THEIR SERVICE IS HIT-OR-MISS; IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE PET SITTER YOU GET MATCHED WITH AND THEIR PARTICULAR PERSONALITY. WE'VE HAD SOME PET SITTERS LEAVE GUSHING, DETAILED, BLOW-BY-BLOW ACCOUNTS OF EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED WHILE WE WERE GONE; OTHERS HAVE COME AND GONE WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE THEY WERE EVER THERE. WE'RE MOVING ACROSS TOWN SOON AND WILL USE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE PET SITTING COMPANIES.

MY CATS WERE FED AND THEIR LITTER BOXES CLEANED WHILE I WAS AWAY DURING MY TRIP. THE SITTER WAS VERY NICE, BUT COMMUNICATION ISSUES WITH THE SITTER WERE EVIDENT. THE SITTER DID NOT RECALL MY DATE AND TIME OF RETURN AND WAS AT MY HOME CONDUCTING A PET SITTING VISIT WHEN I RETURNED FROM MY TRIP. WHEN I ENTERED MY HOME UPON MY RETURN I SAW THAT THE SITTER WAS FEEDING ONE OF MY CATS ON MY KITCHEN TABLE, AN ACTION I DIDN'T ASK FOR NOR DO I ALLOW. THE SITTER DID NOT FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING CLEAN UP OF ACCIDENTS BY MY PETS AND USED AN IMPROPER CLEANING PRODUCT ON MY RUGS AND FLOORS. I WAS PROMISED A DAILY LOG BY THE SITTER AND NONE WAS PROVIDED. SOME NOTES WERE SENT BY MAIL (AFTER I TWICE REQUESTED THE DAILY LOG) BUT PROVIDED LITTLE DAY TO DAY INFORMATION. UPON DISCUSSING THESE ISSUES WITH THE OWNER, THE OWNER DID NOT APOLOGIZE FOR ANY OF THE ISSUES I IDENTIFIED AND SEEMED VERY DISMISSIVE OF MY CONCERNS.
