Ken Leonard refused to stand behind his work.
1 He said he would finish the bathroom details such as the door would not shut and
the baseboard was incomplete. Later he refused to return to finish the
work
2. I kept a log of who worked when. After the first day, Ken never
showed up when he said he would. One day he demo'd two other projects and
did not show up until after 1 pm. Fortunately my Word document is time
stamped so I can prove this too.
3 He started as many jobs as he could and
left me hanging. First he left workers unsupervised to rip out an old kitchen floor and
install a new procelan tile floor.  They broke over half the tiles trying to get a good cut. Needless to say there were MAJOR problems. - - There were two sub floors. Instead of pulling up the upper subfloor and putting
down the correct backer board, they put the backer board on top making for
a huge transition- There were 3 dimes difference between tiles making the
floor extremely uneven.- When the people hired to fix the problem, it
turned out Ken used porcelain mastic under the backer board and ceramic
mastic between the backer board and the tile. I have photos and saved samples. There were tons of problems
the second crew found. It cost more to fix what Ken did then if I had
hired these people from the outset.  Ceramic tile  is
porous. Porcelan is not porous. The ceramic mastic did not adhere properly
to the porcelan tile. 
He refuses to even talk with me. I am disabled and on a fixed income. This is despicable.
I tried contacting him to reach some sort of settlement.  Not sure what my next step needs to be.
