We wanted to turn an existing closet between our girls' bedrooms into a Jack and Jill bathroom. The existing walls were bumped out to make a comfortable bathroom space, 2 pocket doors were created for access from each bedroom, and a new closet was created in one bedroom to replace the one we lost (second bedroom has separate closet that was untouched.) With expert guidance from Las Aguilas, we landed on a perfect layout and design. They had some smart suggestions along the way (tile, lighting, etc ) to pull everything together beautifully. From start to finish, all facets of the project were tightly scheduled with no wait time between steps (plumbing, electric, carpentry, etc.) Communication was quick and easy, and responses were prompt. This is a terrific group of professionals, who have given us a much needed and absolutely beautiful new bathroom. I highly recommend!

Hosea and his brothers did a nice job over the coarse of several weeks. His brother didn't seem fluent in English, but my daughter was here and she could clarify since she speaks Spanish. I would have done one thing differently: I should have gone over the job details more thoroughly before the start of the job. The tile insert that I wanted integrated with the onyx in the shower wasn't the same depth and the job was too far along to go back to accommodate it. We used it for the bark splash for the sink.

They did a fine job. They were pretty much always on time. We had to make some changes mid-stream, because I made some mistakes in planning. They were very accommodating.

Las Aguilas contracting delivers a level of quality, value, and integrity that my wife and I didn't think existed in this industry. Jose and his team showed up consistently each day at the same time, and didn't leave until the job was done RIGHT. If they were going to be there at a different time, they let us know. We were kept informed every step of the way. These guys grew up as builders and it shows, their work is bar none the best value and highest quality I have ever seen out of a dozen different companies. Other contractors said a drywall ceiling couldn't be installed in our basement bedroom... Las Aguilas not only made it work, but were the most competitive bid we received. Most importantly, they have integrity. A couple of months after the initial work we found our selves in a desperate situation requiring us to gut our kitchen in a short time frame. Las Aguila's was there for us in our time of need. They rearranged other jobs, pulled long hours, just to help us out. We didn't spend tens of thousands of dollars with them previously to get this kind of treatment. This is just who they are... people who do the right thing whether your looking or not. We give them our highest recommendation and you can trust that your work will be delivered above your expectations, on time, and on budget.

They aimed to please. Communicating with Jose's helpers was made easier because my daughter speaks Spanish. Jose was patient when we discovered a planning error on my part. We compromised so he didn't have to redo any work,m and I was pleased enough

Several people had come to diagnose ceiling leak, none of them were able to figure out the problem. When I described the problem to them, their approach was exactly the one that had helped a relative of mine who had a similar issue. They came over, found the problem, improper roof nail placement, which should have been obvious to the other roof people I had brought in. They found someone to fix it and was inexpensive.

Jose Flores of Las Aguilas is a wonderful contractor. What sold me on Jose is that he listens, and adds his thoughts and ideas about the best way to handle a project. We plan to use Las Aguilas for our upcoming basement renovations.

The craftsmanship is beautiful, the responsiveness was quick, every person involved with this company is kind and courteous. Jose and his team were great. Mary was very quick to respond and very helpful as well. The problem that we encountered was with the grout stage of our project. We had all the materials already and only hired the labor since they were able to install 3 months earlier than the original contractor. The FusionPro grout we provided was not the normal grout that they were accustomed to and it proved to be a bit challenging at the end. Wiping wet grout off of doors and walls was not complete in some areas so we will have to chisel out grout from the fireplace bricks and sand down spots of dried grout. The new tile was also wiped down with a sealer that left a greasy haze and after several days of dry time it was not getting better; It took hours on our hands and knees cleaning each individual tile to remove it. The floor is beautiful and they did an amazing job on it - up until the end of the project.

We had a clawfoot tub in our older home. Las Aguillas removed it and built a beautiful tiled shower surround with a new tub. Mary was very helpful in giving me information about tile and tub ,fixtures etc. Jose came out several times to measure and give advise. They fit us into their busy schedule so that we could have a functional shower as soon as possible. The crew came out on time each day and worked very hard to keep on schedule. They were polite and respectful. Fidel installed the tile and did a wonderful job, it truly looks great. He took his time and asked me about trim and details like the cut out for shampoo bottles, the height and placement of the fixtures, etc. They were honest, hard working and always cleaned up each evening before leaving. They were even nice to my curious, large dog! This is a wonderful family business that takes pride in doing a good job. I would not hesitate to hire them again, they are a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for a beautiful, functional shower that we enjoy every day!

The workers were on time, polite, and courteous, and they demonstrated a strong work ethic. Additionally, they cleaned up every day, not leaving any debris in the bathroom or any part of the house. The finished bathroom exceeded my expectations and is a shining example of the quality of their work.

It was difficult to schedule/connect with them. They seemed very busy and/or a little haphazard in their approach to day to day contact. They always good reasons why they didn’t get back to me promptly but it was still more difficult to work with them than I would have liked. The team that showed up worked very hard and diligently to complete the job in the time allotted, no issues with them at all.

They were slow in getting the job completed and their attention to detail was lacking. We ended up finishing the job ourselves because we were so unhappy with their work. They overestimated the amount of paint needed and we lost money because of this.

It went fine until I received a phone call at 3:30 asking if I wanted to pay more to have the rest of the job finished. The guys showed up at 8:15, took an hour lunch and I paid for two people for 8 hours each. (you do the math). I told her that my math showed I had painters until 5:15. I was a little upset, but they finished the job without further costs to us.

I came by and saw the work. their painting was done well. I would think that we might rate higher on the performance of the work but maybe you were so upset because I had called to let you know that there would be extra charges believing that they had worked the 8 hours. that it made you rate the actual job poorly."
