Awful! Absolutely awful! We were told the roofing crew would be here 9/6/16 would finish in one day. We were told the siding crew would be here the day after and finish in two days. After the siding, we were told the gutters and soffits, fascia would be done the next day. We called the office to confirm on 9/2/16 that the crews would be out on 9/6/16 since no one had followed up with us since the first part of August. We were told the roofers would not be out until 9/13/16 and siding wouldn't be out until 9/19/16. We asked if there was anything else that could be done since we were told a different timeframe. They were able to switch around the schedule and have the siding work start on 9/14/16. The roofers were GREAT! They were prompt and worked non-stop on 9/13/16. Juan and his crew were fantastic. Then, the nightmare started......... The siding "crew" of two men showed up on 9/14/16. After working until about 2pm, they decided to leave. Large nails were left all over the front porch, back deck, driveway, sidewalk, etc. There was trash everywhere! We were shocked. Needless to say, they had enough time to rip off all the siding and that was about it. On Thursday, we got a call at noon saying there was no one working on the house because the foreman got food poisoning. Donovin came out Thursday night and apologized and said the crew would be out on Friday and would be finished by the end of day on Friday. Friday it rained so no crew again. We were told Saturday all the crews would be here and finish the job on Saturday. The two-man siding crew were here around 8am and left at 2pm. Only one side of the house was sided. When they told us they were leaving my husband said we were told everything would be finished on Saturday. The response was "yeah, the office and sales guys don't know what they are talking about." The way it is going, we will not have our house completed for another week. Again - the other sides of the house are completely exposed as all the other siding is ripped off. We also again had to go around and pick up trash, debris, nails, screws, etc. from around the house to avoid getting anything in our car tires or having our young children step on them. These are just the nails and screws easy to see on the porch, sidewalk, driveway, and deck - I can only imagine what is in the yard. Do NOT hire this company! Do NOT do business with them!

Lane Construction replaced my entire roof. After a short time we had problems with shingles falling off the east facing side of the house. Lane replaced the shingles under the warranty but the problem kept recurring every few months. They kept replacing shingles for several years but the problem kept happening and now they no longer will replace the shingles. I finally contacted a different roofer and they told me that the east side of my roof is very steep and the shingle manufacturer requires extra steps for proper installation. Well, Lane Construction didn't follow the extra steps so now I'm left with a roof that looks bad and still needs to be repaired. I will never use Lane Construction for any work in the future and can't recommend them to anyone else.

The issue of the roof leak happened on 12/26/15. I made four calls to the office and another three calls to their emergency line with no answer. On the 10th day someone finally called me back and on day 11 someone came out to check the issue. When they came out to look at the problem they're refusing to do anything about the roof leak because they feel they found a contributing factor for the leak and that I have no proof that those areas are leaking from their installation of my roof years ago. It seemed to me that they were trying to prove me wrong with the issue, kind of like rubbing it in my face that I was wrong and it wasn't their fault. It was also unprofessional when they mentioned that I am a hard-to-please customer.

We had Lane House replace our roof in 2008, and the experience was very good.  However, it turned out in early 2014 that the shingles had a defect.  Well, the manufacturer insisted that the fault lie not with their shingles but in how they were installed, despite the fact that everyone else who had a problem with their shingles had their roofs replaced without argument.  Lane House absolutely went to bat for us through a months-long process of getting the manufacturer to own up to their faulty shingles and eventually were able to get our roof replaced in late 2014.  Again, the work was excellent, it took only one day, and the cleanup was immaculate.  I would totally recommend Lane House construction--

Overall,it went well.  The salesman was very nice and responsive and patient with my 100 questions.  I took some time to select a color.  Upon installation, I had 1 issue which was partially resolved. I didn't get the drip edge I requested on all the house but it did get installed on the garage after I inquired about it.  There were other small changes but they were an improvement to what I asked. The workers were polite too. The place was clean after they left.  My lesson learned is to review with the on-site manager what I am asking for before work begins or early in the project.

It wasn't a big job but they did an excellent job. I talked to the owner before we even did the work and I was pleased from start to finish for what they did. He was very nice and pleasant to talk to.

Horrible. Lane House canvased my neighborhood in the summer of 2011. They found storm damage and my roof was replaced. Within a year we started noticing leaks in our roof. I contacted Lane House multiple times about the leaks and was told the roof is fine despite continual damage to my ceilings and walls. At one point in 2013, Lane House sent a handyman crew out to fix the ceilings and walls in the bedroom, bathroom, and dining room. But the original problem was never fixed. When it rains the bedroom wall becomes saturated and soft. Then we noticed a new leak in the living room. The front facing stucco wall of my house is damaged from improper placement of fascia board and the leaking roof. I again called Lane House and Dan Compton came out and said that the shingles on the roof never sealed in addition to poor craftsmanship. He stated that the damage was so extensive that the entire roof would have to be replaced and that the damage to the walls, ceilings, and the stucco would be paid for. I was told the roof was gong to be replaced the following week while I was out of town. It was never replaced. I called the next morning and asked why it was not replaced. I was told that the shingle manufacturer would have to come out and survey the roof before work could be done. Weeks have gone by, no one has looked at or started work on the roof. At one point I was told that if I notified my insurance company, this could get done faster. No. Lane House put on defective shingles, denied that there was a problem for over 3 years, and now is dragging their feet on repairs. Dan Compton is no longer returning my phone calls. The damage is  worsening, and I am getting blown off.
Response from Lane House Construction
"Dan Compton, our production manager, went out to [Member Name Removed] house at the end of July, when he came back he showed me, Julie Friday (General Manager) a bunch of pictures of the damaged roof, which is a manufacture defect. I called [Member Name Removed] on July 29 at 2:22pm, she did not answer, so I left her a voicemail saying to call her insurance company to have them come out and take a look at the roof for storm damage (Roof defects look alot like s/d--Even though we knew it was a roof defect, its always good to have it in writing from an insurance company when you are turning in a claim to a manufacture) and once she did that, to pull her roof warranty information and call IKO to start the claim. *Please note: Manufactures DO NOT let the contractor call in the claim or else we would have done it for her* I had not heard anything from her and Dan Compton said she had called him again wondering what to do since her insurance company had came out, so I called her AGAIN on August 18 at 4:16pm saying to get out her IKO roof warranty information and call them and if she could not find the number, to call me and I could get it for her. She called Dan Compton again on August 18th saying she had not heard anything from me, even though I had called her twice, confirmed I had the right number with the number she called Dan from, and her v/m says [Member Name Removed], so I knew I had been calling the right number. The only way she could have not heard my voicemails is, if she hasn't checked them. So since she was "not recieving" my calls, on August 19th I put a letter in the mail stating: [Member Name Removed] Attached you will find the warranty information from IKO, there is also a number at the bottom (which I highlighted) so you can call in your warranty claim. After you call the claim in, they should send you a packet in the mail and you can call me and I can help you fill it out. If you have any questions before calling your claim in, always feel free to call, my number is 314-845-2166 or you can call Dan. Thanks Julie Friday Office Manager. Every since I sent that letter, I have yet to hear anything. She knows the office number and can ALWAYS call me if she has any issues/questions."

They did a good job.  The salesman was very nice and he gave us a great deal on the price.  He was very thorough on answering our questions.  Interesting, there was a storm and a salesman came to our house saying that we needed new gutters because of damage. So we called Lane to come out to check the roof then they said the shingles and gutters were fine.  We don't need new gutters so they said somebody was just trying to get more money.  I am glad that they were able to verify it for us...that was really nice. Somebody else came out to do some repair work in my house and they said that the roof that Lane has done was greatly done.

Went very well, overall.  A tree limb was broken by a subcontractor transferring materials to the roof.  Lane responded immediately and so did the subcontractor.  Minor damage to a piece of fascia in rear was repaired/replaced.  That work took several follow-up phone calls and visits by Lane to get resolved; which it was.  Considering the scope of work and price, I am surprised that no one from Lane contacted us about the work or our satisfaction after they performed the work, before we contacted them about the need for repair of fascia.

I was very happy with the work that was done on my home by Lane House Construction. Clean up and their work was excellent from start to finish. I received a courtesy call every time they were coming out which was great because my schedule is always so hectic. I plan to do more work on the outside of my home here in the near future and I will definitely be contacting Lane House Construction again and looking forward to them beautifying my home even more!

They were informative. They didn't embellish anything, they told me when they could do it, when they could. They told me the cost. They were friendly and courteous. Everything went smoothly. We have had 3 days of rain, and it hasn't leak. I was very pleased.

I contacted Lane House Construction to give me an estimate on my roof
and siding. The salesmen came out and wrote me an estimate. A week later
I contacted Lane House and told them I wanted to go with them. They
started the work about a week later and were done in about three days.
My house looks amazing and I am very pleased! I would refer them to
anyone that needs a roof or siding.

Working with contractors you always have some positives and negatives. I won't say everything was great, but I would say for the most part the majority of it was great and we thought their workmanship was very professional. I haven't had any issues with what they've done. It was covered by my insurance. I really didn't have a lot of out-of-pocket expenses and there weren't a lot of surprises.

On March 29th I contacted Lane House to have someone give an estimate for siding, guttering and a deck, with the deck not necessarily to be done.  Later that afternoon the salesmen, Floyd and Joe, contacted me at my home and provided an estimate for the work I wanted done, including the deck.  I decided to not have the deck put on at this time.  On Wednesday, April 3rd, the work began and by Friday the siding was on.  The following Monday, the soffits, fascia and guttering were on my home.  The cleanup was great and the home looks beautiful.  Several neighbors have commented on the appearance and all have liked it, including how fast the work went.  One neighbor, who knows about this type of work, said the work was done correctly and thought the home looked very nice.  The siding installer did a walk around with me, as well as Floyd and Joe, when the entire job had been completed.  I will have Lane House build my deck soon.
