La Presto Roofing & Tuckpointing

Nick and his employee came over on Saturday, September 19th and tuckpointed the brick around the front entrance as well as place concrete around the front of the house foundation. Nick requested payment of $475 in full at that time and promised that he would return to complete the job. I wrote him a check and never saw him again. Four weeks passed and Nick never came back. I called him and he said he would come back as soon as possible. Five more weeks passed and I called him again. He said he would be out the following week. It rained the following week, so I assumed he would come out when it was dry. It has mostly been dry for the last three weeks and he still hasn't shown. Nick took $475 of my money and didn't finish the job. I've called and spoken with him two times and he failed to show both times. In addition, some of the concrete that his employee put around the foundation has cracked. I also notified Nick of this, but nothing has been done to fix it. It's now too late in the year to finish any of this work and I won't be able to re-paint the areas that are tuckpointed until next spring. My time and money has been wasted. I will not use his company again.
