My SUV developed a musty-rotten egg smell; sweating and leakage of water from under the dash, along with formation of a white sponge like substance on the front floor mats. It was discovered that mold was growing in the air/heating vent and ac condenser housing unit. The drain tubes were clogged.Routine maintence and disassemble of the dash and replacement of carpet mating had to be done.Mold ratification was performed in a timely manner and I was educated on how to possible prevent this issue from occurring. I was instructed to keep car windows closed during humid and wet weather. Also recommended using the air circulator.
