It was great. Their estimator was patient, friendly, and understood that we didn't have $50k to spend on the roof at that moment. So, he did an assessment and we broke it into "triage," assessing which areas needed attention most and bidding those into "Round 1," and then noting the next most critical areas for "Round 2," to happen in the next couple of years. They actually cleaned up after themselves when they left! (Sadly, this was not our experience when our other contractors started coming once the roof was done.) They were polite and professional. They didn't smoke/throw cigarette butts, nor did they eat lunch on our porch and leave trash like our general contractor. Most importantly, their work has held up just fine (again, wish we could say the same about our general contractor, who was a nightmare).
