Communication and service were outstanding. We contacted Tony on short notice and asked for an out of state move the week between Christmas and New Year's. Tony was able to move things around and accommodate our schedule. Very professional and safe move. When we arrived at our destination, bad weather was in the forecast, so Tony expedited the move in, working into the evening, to finish it before the snow arrived. All in all, a very positive experience, and would strongly recommend.

Tony and the team did a phenomenal job with our move. It couldn't have been easy. We had plenty of stuff, some tricky angles, and our move day turned out to be one of the coldest of that winter. Nevertheless, the team was careful and contentious, moving quickly, but never at the expense of our things, floors, or fresh paint. Tony Barlow estimated the move to be 6/7 hours. Tony charged me for 10.75 hours ($1720). Tony and two helper were to arrive between 8 and 9 am on Sept. 17, 2020 to move me from a ranch home to a second floor apartment, Tony arrived at 9:30, while the other two helpers arrived around 10 am. The two helpers did not eat breakfast or bring anything to drink. One stated he worked the night before, had to get his kids off to school, and didn't get any sleep. Neither helper seemed to do anything without being told. All did not seem to be in any hurry to complete the move. They worked so slowly, that I ended out assisting in the move. Tony only had one set of tools, and only one helper disassembled the bed while the other watched. After loading the truck, the three men got something to eat, and arrived at the apartment about 45 minutes after leaving the house. The distance between the house and apartment was 4.33 miles. The three took their time moving the furniture to the apartment. At one time, I went out to the truck, and only one of the helpers was folding blankets, furniture was sitting waiting to be moved to the apartment, and the other two were nowhere to be found. It took over an hour to reassemble the bed, and mirror to the dresser. At 6:15 Tony ask me where I wanted the living room furniture moved, I told him I'd do it myself. I left to grab dinner, and the truck was still stilling in front. Tony called me at 6:50, and expected to be paid that night. The two helpers were sitting around. I have asked for an explanation of the charges four times, but have not received. My new neighbors hired K&R Moving, had more furniture and a washer and dryer. K & R completed the move in 2.5 hours with 6 men and charged them $725. Tony’s fees are based on hours and number of men. I would not recommend J. P. Barlow & Co.

JP Barlow did an outstanding job moving my office. They were extremely professional. They were very cautious and careful with everything. It was not an easy move (the move was to a second floor walkup), but they did it quickly and without complaint. They are incredible! I will use them again without hesitation.

Professionally done with correct procedures and safety considerations. I believe this is the only company in St. Louis who is capable of moving two 5000 lb stone Griffin statues professionally. Two previous attempts by other companies failed to even lift up the statues Tony directed a team of people with the right equipments to get the job done to my great satisfaction. I highly recommend this firm for moving any real heavy and valuable statue.

Toni was the person who insisted on doing a walk through before giving me a quote. His quote was higher than others, but I'm sure they would have ended up charging me more once they performed the work. His guys were great and Toni is a super nice guy. I would definitely give a 100% recommendation.
