Ok. At Redington's suggestion, we replaced the entire lead piece & the stack. As predicted, the pipe in the wall fell apart as the plumber removed it. The job was reasonably priced and performed in only a few hours. The plumber's suggestion to remove all of the lead pipe saved us $ and the aggravation of having two plumber app't.

My water bill was really high so we knew that something was leaking, he spent two hours working. The bill has now gone down.

The plumber had a very difficult job he had to lay partially inside a cabinet underneath a vanity and through a wall to so solder the leak. He did an excellent job. Sorry, this report was done long after the service. As long ago as 6 months. I can say that the soldering is holding up.

They know older homes well. Very professional. Their plumbers have worked for them for a long time and are experienced.

I think plumbers and electricians are all very expensive. He has done a good job. I have been satisfied. The pricing seems extremely high. They are there when we need them and they get the job done.

They are reputable plumbers and I’ve used them for years. They are excellent and they show up when they say they are going to show up. They are not the cheapest but they are also extremely professional and they got the job done. They’ve been in business forever. They are licensed professional plumbers.

Called Redington in the morning and they were able to get someone out that day. Everything was repaired. I have used Redington for years and have always had good experience with them. I have been a member of Angie's List for 1 year and thought I would look them up. I was shocked to see the bad reviews since they have always given me excellent service. I decided to call them because of my past experience and was again pleased with their service.

We hired Redington because we thought there was a leak in our bathtub. The first repairman came out and told us he would need to order a part to fix it. He ordered the part (which took forever to come in - and the lady I spoke to on the phone seemed annoyed when I would call and inquire). A new repairman came out the second time (with the part) and informed us that there actually wasn't anything wrong with the bathtub at all, we had just filled it too high the time it leaked and that the jets in the Whirlpool tub aren't meant to be submersed. We felt silly and should have known this, but as new homeowners, we were happy to pay them for this information.  However, when we got the bill, they had charged us for TWO home visits, instead of just ONE. Nothing was even done during the first home visit and the repairman should have discovered the actual problem (or lack thereof) that first day. After arguing with them, they finally agreed to reverse the charge, but they were VERY rude about it.  Not a good experience as a new homeowner!

The problem came when we received our bill for the second service. We felt that we should have not been billed because they installed faulty parts. After NUMEROUS phone calls  that were never returned we eventually talked to owner of the company they were EXTREMELY rude to us accusing us of installing the faulty parts not them. After many months of receiving the "late" bills we called again and spoke with someone who was very rude but in the end discovered that they were at fault and actually did charge us on our original bill and the second bill was void. We never received an apology for being their error or an explanation for why this was not further investigated by them. I would NEVER hire this company again.

They did such a great job and the service was wonderful. They used some Lime A Way to clean all the crust out of our pipes and a large snake rather than the little ones others had used in the past. They even cut the price in half for us! They were even prompt and came at a convenient time.

The original bid was $1000, but they found existing venting to use when they opened the wall. It only took them about 3hrs to complete the job and far fewer materials than expected. The company still wanted to charge me the full amount for work they did not have to complete. This is a quote from the owner Jeff Redington, "when I quote something I take a risk, the quote went a little better, such is life". A little better?? His ethics are definitely in question. Would never hire this company again even though they have been around for a long time.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work is very good and I have been satisfied with their service.

I feel that this is one of the best plumbers in St. Louis, for reliability and honesty. They stand behind their work. The faucet did develop another problem, which is why I graded them slightly lower on quality of work, but they were prompt and very responsive to my concerns.

Redington answers calls immediately (I had them come before in an emergency and they were the only to show promptly) and the plumbers are very neat and courteous. They work very fast, too. I am very happy to call them again.

THE FIRST GUY DIDN'T DO SOMETHING THAT HE NEEDED TO, BUT WHEN I CALLED THEM BACK. THEY SENT SOMEONE RIGHT OUT TO MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES WITH NO COST TO ME. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM.

THEY CAME TO CHECK MY TOILET AND SAID THEY HAD TO ORDER A VALVE. THEN THEY CAME BACK AND PUT THE VALVE IN. I THINK SERVICE MAN KNEW IT WAS THE WRONG VALVE BUT HE PUT IT IN ANYWAY. I HAD TO CALL THEM AND TELL THEM IT WAS WRONG AND IN THE END HAD TO REPLACE THE VALVE ON OUR OWN. I THINK THE POOR SERVICE WAS BECAUSE OF A SOUR SALARIED SERVICE TECH. THE OWNER CALLED AND APOLOGIZED AND SMOOTHED THINGS OVER. HE WAS REALLY CONCERNED WITH THE ISSUE AND IS GOING TO TRY TO MAKE GOOD OF THE SITUATION.

THEY ARRIVED ABOUT AN HOUR AFTER THE DISPATCHER SAID THEY WOULD. HOWEVER, THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS, QUICK, AND DID CLEAN WORK. NICE JOB.
