Gail and Mike were complete professionals from start to finish. I had a roof inspection and a lot of questions. Mike was able to provide me with referrals to have necessary repairs made.

Mike and Kevin arrived an hour and a half before we arrived to inspect our 24 year old home. We were happy with their performance until we moved into our new home. We found many problems, that we feel should have been found/pointed out during the inspection. For example, all upstair's bathroom pipes make a loud sound when the hot water is used. We have had a plumber look at the situation. The pipes are expanding and hitting the wood in the walls when heated. This is a problem that has nothing to do with air in the pipes and cannot be fixed unless the drywall is opened. The plumber said this was a problem made during construction of the home. If our inspectors had run the water for 30 seconds there is no way they could have missed this. Also, none of our bathroom vents vent out air. 20 windows are defective and needing to be replaced....our inspectors mentioned some defective balancers, but never told us the extend of the problem. We have no access panel to our master bathroom bathtub, since the previous owner tiled in the tub. We wish our inspectors would have seen this. Our master bathroom toilet was tiled around.....we had to get a plumber and tile professional to bust out the tiled floor to replace our toilet. Again, another thing we had no idea of and wish our inspectors would have pointed out. When we turned on our humidifier that was connected to our furnace, it leaked. Not sure why the inspectors would turn on the furnace, but not the connecting humidifier? If we knew the extent of the problems, we would have thought twice about purchasing the home. We feel the inspectors should have pointed out more problems, especially the water pipes, windows, and bathroom vents.

Mike and Kevin were able to get our inspection done on very short notice. They were early, courteous, and very thorough. We had a report e-mailed to us the next day, and got our sewer DVD in the mail within 3 days.
The inspection lasted almost 5 hours, and at the end we got a tour of the house with all the recommendations.
Overall, everything went extremely well and we were very pleased with the experience.

This is the second time Mike Morissey has performed a home inspection for us in the past year. Both times he was able to perform the inspection the SAME DAY that we called for an appointment. This was very helpful as we were in a very tight schedule for getting this done. He is thorough, helpful, provided referrals to professionals we might need (plumber, handyman, mold remediation, etc.). Gave us tips on home maintenance. He had a detailed written report with many pictures of specific items within 24 hours. (Both times we ended up buying the properties).

He was prompt, had good availability (evening hours), was very thorough and informative. He had a very detailed report emailed to us right away. The hard copy is mailed. He does an hour by hour radon test. I'm not sure if this is really necessary or if it is ok to just get a radon test that gives the average. Again, he gave us the results that evening and a lot of other info regarding radon. He is very pleasant to work with.
