I'm just using them because the house I bought that's who they used.  They are consistent, they remind me when I need to do something.

My experience with Hydrodynamics is very bad this year. I have been using this company for the last five years, however, this year their service is terribly bad. Hydrodynamics did the initial backflow testing and then turned on the sprinklers this year (2012). However, I noticed that several parts of the yard are dying (totally yellow color dead grass even though we were watering every other day and many parts of the lawn are lush green). My husband called Hydrodynamics and they sent the same person who turned on our system. This person replaced a sprinkler head and repaired several sprinkler heads. After this repair visit, I noticed that Zone 2 wasn't turning on. This issue made my front yard even worse than before. My husband sent e-mails to account manager, service manager and office manager describing our issue and I didn't get any response at all. I don't know whether these folks use e-mail system or not.
My yard became soooo bad that I didn't want to wait for the repeated experimentation of Hydrodynamics personnel on our lawn in this hot summer. I have replaced Hydrodynamics with another firm that had received consistently good reviews on Angies List. 
I am very intrigued at what is happening within Hydrodynamics. For a long time customer like me (5+ years), I didn't expect such bad service and totally lack of responsibility and accountability.

I am very happy with them.  They come out every spring and strictly do the sprinklers.  I don't recall how much they charge for the service.  They do good quality work.  They show up on time.  They come next spring.

They have been very professional and they have done the work for years. The quality of work is very good. Their pricing is more industry standard. They are very, very professional in how they handle their business. They have a schedule and they are very punctual.

They were there when they said they would be and they did the job they said would. I didn't have any problems with the service and I wouldn't have any problem recommending them to others.

Fantastic! Jack was our salesman. He was here everyday. Very attentive. The employees doing the work were EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!! Hardworking and meticulous. I would highly recommend them.

My problem is that it took over a month to get the work done because they kept sending people out who were surprised by what needed to be done and lacked time and materials. Rather than completing the job, they said they were scheduled to be with another customer and left, then it would take a couple of weeks to reschedule. It took three times to complete the originally scheduled work of adding heads and fixing the stakes on the light fixtures, and another trip to fix the leak. All but the leak had been reviewed in advance by the manager, so there should have been no surprises that resulted in this time delay and the aggravation of having to keep rescheduling. I discussed with the service manager, and he basically said he'd do the same thing all over again, so I'm looking for another company.

They did a fantastic job. They were not the cheapest estimate we had, but we had heard great things from others. They certainly did great when they came here. Even though they were a little more expensive, I knew that they were here and would get the job done. The sales representative was very knowledgeable.

They are professional and do an excellent job.

I had called other companies, and their quotes were considerably higher. Also, one of the other companies said they would have to knock down walls to install it, this company was able to install it without knocking anything down. They had a plumber come in and hook up the system, then installed everything. They have already come back out to fix some of the sprinkler heads and they are very responsive.

They provide superior installation and ongoing system care.

I originally called the company because the previous home owners used them, but have been pleased with the service and continue to use them. They send reminder cards in the spring and fall, and if you call reasonably soon, you get many choices for appointment dates. I get a half-day window, but I've called them if I had to leave for a short time to pick up a child, and the office just let the driver know. They are quick and efficient, and seem to carry all the necessary parts for the inevitable repairs in an older system. Both the people on the phone and those who come out are always professional and polite.

They advertise that they will repair outdoor lighting systems that they did not install, which is what we needed since the lighting system at our house was installed by a previous owner, and we had no record of who did the original work. Several other outdoor lighting firms that I contacted would not do repairs on systems that they did not install. Hydro Dynamics was able to come out within a couple of days of my call. Very efficient service and pleasant workman.
