They did a spectacular job repairing and framing the piece. You now can't tell where the crack was---it looks like it was never broken.. And it was completed in a shorter time than expected. I and the gift recipient were both absolutely delighted with how the piece came out. Based on my experience I highly recommend Home Is Where the Art Is for framing and repair work.
Description of Work: I had an unusual watercolor painting on plaster which had broken in two, with some cracking and peeling around the edges. I was very doubtful that it could be repaired. I saw the Angie"s List listing for Home is where the Heart Is, and decided to see what they could do.

I cam in with a 24 page insert that had a lot to be corrected. Tina dropped everything even when she didn't know me and took my call when I was in such a terrible situation. She stayed and worked 7 1/2 hrs straight sitting at the computer working for hours on correcting many problems throughout the insert. She worked with Indesign and Adobe Photoshop throughout the 7 1/2 hrs. She worked hard and knew the programs extremely well. Her 28 years of experience helped in that for sure. She made sure I was set and did everything I needed from setting PDF forms to emailing people needed for the project. I would highly recommend Tina not only for Graphic Design but so other business of photos, computer, software needs. She is very good, very informative, very knowledgeable and will work hard to complete your project correctly. She pays attention to detail and all your needs. I can't recommend her enough. She is worth the drive!!! I plan on using their services in the near future for more projects that are on hold while we print our present project.
Description of Work: Worked for 7 hours on Indesign and Adobe Photo Shop for a Memorial Insert of pictures and memories for a book. She took and corrected mistakes and problems. She dropped everything to help me with a horrible situation. I would HIGHLY recommend Tina for any of your graphic designs. You will NOT be disappointed!

I needed to print envelopes for an invitation, and our printer kept eating them. I found Home is Where the Art is on Angie's List under calligraphy and gave them a call. Tina was reassuring and wonderful! She was able to format my list, match my font, and get my envelopes back to me early the next morning, when I hadn't even dropped them off to her until the prior afternoon! I was thrilled! The envelopes were beautiful, the price was great, and I was able to send them out quickly- a miracle considering it's the holiday season! I was also delighted to discover that they design logos, brochures, posters- you name it, and I plan to use them in that capacity as well. I definitely give them an A+++.

I had two paintings over a hundred years old and one painting only 50 years old, all three needed cleaning. I called the St. Louis Art Guild and asked them who they would recommend. They suggested I contact Tina at and quot;Home is Where the Art Isand quot;. She came to the house and looked at the artwork. I sent two paintings with her at first. She did a wonderful job of cleaning the paintings. Both paintings had been in a smokers home and were covered in nicotine and one of the paintings had some water damage. Both paintings needed framing. I expressed what was my limit on the framing. She presented frame options within my price range. The frames add so much to the final piece. She explained the process and gave me a due date. She did beautiful work within the time span she gave. After seeing her finished work, I gave her the third painting. It was a family piece and very special to me. It needed quite a bit of restoration. Again, she explained the services, gave me a due date, and stuck with the price quoted. The last painting needed work on the frame. The frame and the painting were created in 1888. Tina did a wonderful job.

Thank you for your comments and entrusting your work to me. Your comments in my abilities is greatly appreciated. There is nothing I like more than to restore a painting back to its original beauty. Your Pansie Painting was one of those that "just grew on me" during the process. May you enjoy your beautiful paintings always. Tina

She did a great job for me. She did a lot of work on my picture frames. She was very reasonable compared to other companies. She took a lot of time with the work and I was very impressed.
Description of Work: I did some framing work for a picture and also some photo restoration.
