They have excellent products. Their plants are wonderful. Their services are wonderful. They are friendly and I would recommend anybody going to them. I have been going there for 15 years.

I've used them before, and always liked them. Six years ago, when I moved into my house, the roofers killed a Japanese maple tree in the garden by throwing down pieces of wood. Hartke's replaced the tree, which grew beautifully for six years. But it died this year. I replaced it with another Japanese maple tree. It was delivered a few days ahead of schedule -- they had a cancellation and phoned to ask if I'd like them to come. I would, and they did. They removed the old tree and planted the new one and told me that the old tree was strangled by the ivy growing around it. They removed the ivy and put mulch around the tree to discourage the ivy. They recommended that I mulch it every spring. I was happy to learn this, since the two dogwoods in the back garden were also looking unhappy. I dug up the and mulched them as well. I find the people at the nursery pleasant and knowledgeable as were the men who planted the tree. (When selecting the tree I also bought two thyme plants from them which are flourishing.)

As above. They were prompt returning my phone call. They deliverd the wood on the day that they were suppose to. They charged a reasonable amount for delivering and stacking the wood. I was very happy with their service.

They are excellent. I went there as a nursery and they did not come here. They have a wide variety of different kinds of plants that and they are unusual and also they are very well organized. I spent about $100. I used them before and they spend a lot of time helping you and giving advice. They are very knowledgeable and customer friendly.

Hartke's has a nice assortment of product. I bought flagstone stepping stones. The employee was very helpful in finding stones in the size I wanted even if he had to sort through a lot. I find Hartke to be a bit pricey, but are very convenient and helpful. Even if you call them on the phone they will spend a lot of time explaining tips and how-to's.

Hartke has a terrific selection of plants-AND they have them well-organized. They carry different, unique plants that I haven't seen anywhere else. The plants are organized as to shade, sun, perennials, native, etc. so it is very easy to find what you are looking for. When I was looking for a trellis, the worker was immensely helpful in finding what I wanted. All the workers are quite knowledgeable and helpful. In this day and age, the personal connection is very much appreciated.

When they came out, I looked at the plants and they did not look good at all. They said it would be fine. Everything died except for a few plants. When I called, I never got a call back or a response. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I even sent them photos of all the dead plants, still no response.

I was taken outside three times to check out various types of shrubbery suitable for my situation. First one sales rep. waited on me and then she got the General Manager who spent almost a full hour going over every detail of what I wanted, what would work best, drew up three different landscaping ideas and went out of his way to give the most help any customer could ever wish for. My original plan was to shop around for pricing from a few nurseries close by. The care and attention that Hartkey's gave sealed the deal immediately. This nursery/garden center/summer produce stand has been in my neighborhood for 14 years. I always go there for bedding plants and herbs in the spring and for the great corn and tomatoes throughout the summer. I am convinced that in the long run, they were the best choice although the shrubs may have cost a bit more than at a bigger store. Their advice and being able to deliver everything plus compost and mulch and customer support were priceless!

They do great work and they really know a lot about landscaping. I was really impressed with how fast they were able to get the work done and I would recommend their services.
