Harster offers sales and service of furnaces, air conditioners, evaporator coils, humidifiers, thermostats, heat pumps, water heaters, ductwork, residential and commercial, compressors/heat exchangers, and low pressure boilers (steam or hot water). Harster offers a 10% Senior Discount on Service Calls only. Harster offers free estimates on the installation of new equipment. Harster also offers a free second opinion on a condemned compressor or heat exchanger by another HVAC company. Harster also offers Planned Service Agreements on most types and brands of heating and air conditioning equipment. Harster provides emergency service at night and on Holidays and weekends. "Harster went out to Mr. [Member Name Removed] on Saturday, July 22, 2017 on an Overtime service call. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was quoted the Overtime Diagnostic of $163.50. All customers are quoted the Overtime Diagnostic charges so they know up front what the extra charge is on Overtime to come out. Once the On-call technician diagnoses the problem, the overtime task to repair the problem is quoted and the customer can either accept or decline the repair. The task to repair the problem includes both the part and the labor, not just the part. Mr. [Member Name Removed] wanted the repair and we installed a new capacitor. Mr. [Member Name Removed] did call back on Monday, July 24, 2017 and complained about the charges. Since Mr. [Member Name Removed] was a new customer, I offered to charge him the regular task price for the capacitor which he was agreeable to. I credited him $108.35. The work was completed on Saturday, July 22, 2017 and not Friday, January 12, 2018 as stated on his review. It was Overtime and we discussed the charges and I agreed to waive, one time only, the Overtime charge for his repair.
