HARRY & DAVID

My father only likes certain things. And Harry & David's catalogue items are among those things. If I send him something different, he will send it back or give it away. So, I send him the same XMAS gift and Birthday gift every year. Last XMAS, I ordered my father's gift, via phone, from Harry & David (H&D). I received a callback from H&D stating that the post office could not find my father's address and that the package was returned. I told H&D same address for more than ten years. H&D re shipped the package. And again post office stated could not find address and returned package to H&D. H&D then stated they would send it special two day delivery (would not go through postal service), and H&D would pay for this more expensive delivery cost. My father received his gift. This hot summer, sent fruit as birthday gift which did not arrive in good shape. I contacted H&D and they immediately reshipped. No extra charge to me. This second shipment arrived safely. Have been doing business with H&D for years and have always received excellent service.

Someone purchased a Harry & David gift basket for us and sent it to our old address. The new homeowner claimed they left it on the front porch for us, but it mysteriously disappeared before we picked it up. We called Harry & David and explained the situation. Although it was not their fault, they immediately shipped another basket to the new address. Impressive!
