Contacted Steve on Jan. 11, 2013, and he told me he'd provide us with an estimate on Tuesday, Jan. 15th. He arrived promptly at the stated time, and provided us with his fabric books to make a selection. We found what we wanted, and he proceeded measure the chairs, and then gave us an estimate on the amount of fabric, the labor cost etc., which came to $1470.00. for both chairs. He said it would take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete, and on Feb. 13, 2013 the chairs were returned in beautiful, perfect like new condition.
The craftsmanship was impeccable, and the price was fair for the work performed. The chairs look beautiful in their new color and their like new condition. The chair legs were also retouched, and looked excellent. I would use this company again, and want to thank them for their professionalism and friendly, personal service. Steve was great to deal with, the young man who delivered the completed chairs was very prompt and courteous. I would recommend them to anybody that needs this type of work performed. As a former Vice-President of several companies (now retired), it's refreshing to see the professionalism, respect and follow-up that Steve and his crew provided. Job well done!

I wanted nailhead trim and paid for that.  When I picked it up they did not  do the nailhead trim.  I did not realize it when I picked it up.  I was so happy to have ti back.  It had taken about 5 months between the 2 companies.  I never called them to tell them.  I should have had them make it right.

I took the chair in, we settled on fabric and price, it was done in less than 3 weeks over the winter holidays.  It was not a rush for me

The quality of the upholstery job is very good. The chair turned out beautiful. Because the chair also needed glueing up and the wooden legs and arms needed refinishing we had to coordinate work between Harris Upholstering and Wooden Elephant Furniture Refinishing. The whole process took 2 months from the time I first dropped the chair off. First Wooden Elephant gave an estimate, then the chair went to Harris to have the old upholstery removed. Then the chair went back to Wooden Elephant to be glued up and refinished. Then back to Harris to be reupholstered. The above listed cost of $350 was just for the reupholstery part, not the gluing up and refinishing. I am very happy with the results. All personnnel were friendly. One just needs to be patient with the process or else get a confirmation on the time line.

I brought the chairs to the shop, but they will also pick up and deliver. I selected fabric from swatches in the shop. The company then re-covered my antique chairs. In the process they also fixed up wobbly spots in the furniture.
