Contacted the company. Set up appointment for walk through and estimate. Upon hiring the work was performed professionally and promptly.  As a result the company has been brought back for additional work to the building. Three employees worked on the project at various times. Without exception they were polite, efficient and performed the required work in a satisfactory manner.

We have had a very poor experience with Grace Contracting, and we would not recommend them to anyone.  We hired them in August to replace our chimney flashing, which had a leak that had ruined some plaster in our home.  After we paid them, we discovered that the flashing they had installed leaked.  They attempted a "repair," but the flashing still leaked.  They then told us that they would need to do additional work on the flashing, which they could do sometime during the week of 10/15/12. We agreed, and asked them to tell us what day they would show up so we could keep our plasterer updated.  They did not respond.  They also never showed up.  On 10/24/12, we emailed them that we were terminating their services and that we wanted a 50% refund (witch is more than fair).  They have been giving us the run-around ever since, and we're probably going to have to take them to court or mediation to resolve this.  We've now hired a new contractor with a lot of experience in roofing.  He looked at Grace's work on our roof and said he'd never seen a flashing job done quite like that.  Bottom line:  their work was ineffective, they have failed to resolve this, and we are now under contract with another company to replace their work.
