GORMAN & GORMAN RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE SERVICES

I contacted Gorman and Gorman while I was researching pre-approval new home loan. We had worked with G & G in the past so I thought I would give them a chance. I talked to Doug originally and he wasn't very helpful because he didn't know all of the rules and regulations that were out currently. I then talked to Jeff who asked me to submit some material to Chip who was going to talk to underwriting about a loan. I faxed Chip the information, then called him to confirm he received it which he said he did. He asked me to give him about a week to get all the information together. I waited and waited and never heard back. This is disappointing considering that we were prior customers both on a new purchase loan and a refinance. It should be noted that a few years back Doug ran my credit report without permission during research on a second refinance. Not acceptable. I guess I should have known better the last time. Overall I think they are nice people. They just didn't have their act together with me this last time and it cost them a customer in the future.
