 + -1 moreThe service was absolutely horrible. I was told that it would take a week and it ended up taking 6 weeks! I was told that my application was no problem but problems kept popping up. I was told that I would receive a certain amount of money when I cashed out but at the very last day before closing that amount was reduced significantly. The loan officer was unavailable on the day of closing even though he knew (and told the title company) that I would have questions about it. And the fees and costs were high. Throughout the whole process, I felt like I was being lied to and misled. I will never use golden oak lending again and I have to warn others to be careful.
Description of Work: Refinanced my home mortgage and converted it from a 5 year arm to a 30 year fixed and cashed out a little bit.

 + -1 moreHe was a joy to work with. He was professional, fair and honest. He was so down to earth and easy to work with. I thought his feedback and suggestions were right on target, and he listened carefully to any questions I had.
Description of Work: Michael Wheeler, of Golden Oak Lending, was my loan officer for my house. He kept me up to date on rates leading up to closing, went to the closing with me and took care of all the paperwork. He gave me a 6% loan, APR was 6.035.

 + -1 moreMIKE WHEELER WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE MADE IT A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THEIR HOURS WERE ALSO VERY HELPFUL BECAUSE WE COULD DO EVERYTHING AFTER WORK.
