The roof is OK--now. Leaked right after installation, but GAR fixed it. Did not instill much confidence though.
Tuck pointing is substandard in all respects. There are still places that need to be done. I had to have GAR come back at least twice. They always came but the job was never completed. Would not recommend this company for tuck pointing. Whoever they used as a subcontractor just did not do a good job. Previously tuck pointers have used red mortar to match. They used gray, my fault for not specifying I suppose. I would have paid extra to get it to match. Also contracted to have a vent cover put back on. It fell right off and they had to come back and attach it properly (at least I hope it is-- has not fallen again. Yet)
Plaster job inside was OK. Except: there was one whole wall where the plaster was falling away (about the top foot) and they did not even notice and I had to call them back. Overall this company is pleasant to deal with in that they show up and do the work. Constantly having to have them come back due to substandard work and ultimately being left with un-done tuck pointing I cannot recommend them unless no one else will show up.
