Ron was very professional during the estimate. He explained two potential ways to accomplish the job and recommended what he thought would would and look the best. The team that installed the window (2 guys) included one of the same men who performed work for me two years ago. It was good to see a familiar face and longevity with the company. He remembered the window and even too time to check his work both inside and out, the latter needing a long ladder to reach. The window turned out great. The trash was removed, the area cleaned, and they were down the road in no time. Highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent, employees were on time extremely courteous and responded to all my questions. I even told them I wished I had more windows to install as they definitely improve the appearance of my home. They also took special care not to damage anything during demolition and install plus cleaned up everything and hauled away all the debris. Absolutely the best out there, call the rest but use the best. GLASS BLOCK of ST.LOUIS. PS Even the estimator was courteous and provided an exact estimate. I’m sure you’ll love all the employees and the work performed by them. I’d go on an on but I think you get the idea. Use GLASS BLOCK of ST LOUIS for your glass block needs.

The bid was thorough and the work seems to be top-notch. Everybody was friendly and prompt. I was hoping the price would have been lower with the 25% discount coupon from Angie's List, but this was still $100 cheaper than reframing and replacing with conventional windows, and it should be better long-term. The work looks great.

Glass Blocks of St Louis provided the installation of glass blocks, initially, in 5 leaking basement windows in July,2013. The work was professionally done and provided an appealing look to the foundation area. The windows continued to leak and crews were sent out to correct any imperfections that they encountered. This continued for close to 3 years and the problem still persisted. My mother asked me to intervene and hopefully get the issue resolved or eliminate contractors who performed repairs to rectify the continuing leaky areas of the foundation. I contacted Ron Boyer, owner of Glass Blocks of St Louis and explained the situation to him. He more than willingly agreed to meet with me at my mother's home and discuss the possible remedy, if one existed. After taking time to survey the situation and discuss what had previously been done, I agreed that the issue of continuing leakage was DEFINITELY not from the workmanship performed by his company. I felt that he had done more than was required beyond the warranty period. He then told me that he was going to send a crew out when they were in the area and perform some additional repairs. This included resealing small cracks in the foundation, examining the glass blocks that were installed for any possible problems. He then informed me that he would have his crew inspect the brick ledge above the foundation for possible cracks in the grout and caulking. This was not covered in the original agreement and I was somewhat taken back by his response.

The 2 man crew came out on July 26,2016 and spent over 2 hours performing the repairs that were promised at no additional cost to her. As fate would have it, we received rain several days later. I spoke with my mom and she reported that this was the first time in over 2 years she had no leaks from the rain storm the night before. It rained again early morning August 1, 2016. It poured in South County as well as North County where my mother resides. I called her and asked the impervious question of how much water did she have in the basement. She replied it was dry as it was after the last rain. I discussed the problem with my mother and we both agreed that the sealing of the grout in the window sill above the foundation was the cure to the persistent problem.

I am writing this because my mother and I believe that Glass Blocks of St Louis, the owner, Ron Boyer and the crews he employs went way above and beyond what was required of them to do. This event was just short of three years after the initial work was completed. This is going more than the extra mile to satisfy a customer. This is what business owners do to continue operating for over 100 years in the same business and in the same area. My mother and I cannot thank them enough for their great customer service. Kudos to all at Glass Blocks of St Louis for a job well done.

I love the effect-more light, no more rain water trickling in around the old windows, no more leaves lying on the 80 year old screens.  The crew did the work in 60% of the estimated time and corrected issues with the two windows under the porch (a prior owners do-it-yourself job).  The guarantee is transferable, and the estimate was the estimate, no hidden charges.  The crew cleaned up the work site.  Very professional!  Thank you so very much!

Glass Blocks of St. Louis was recommended to us by a friend, and we checked them out on Angie's List where they had stellar reviews.  We then contacted them and Ron Boyer, the owner, came out to give us an estimate the next week.  He took measurements, explained the process of installation to us, answered our questions about the windows, and then came up with his estimate.  It seemed reasonable to us, so we signed a contract at the end of the meeting.
We received a call from Ron the day before our agreed upon installation date and he informed us that Chris and Dean would be coming out to install our windows.  The next day, they reported on time (at 8:00 AM) and we showed them the window locations.  They proceeded with their work immediately, first removing all of the old windows and then installing the new ones.  They were pleasant to have around and answered questions when we had them.  They worked quickly and efficiently and the job was complete by 1:30, including clean-up and our inspection of their work.  They did a great job and we are very pleased with the results!  They make our house much more attractive on the outside, and inside the basement.  I'm sure we will have a much warmer basement since our existing basement windows were the original, single-pane variety common in many houses of its vintage (1933).  They also did a very thorough cleanup,   Very professional!

In order to repair a damaged and leaking glass block window, and to replace the remaining three pane windows, we asked Glass Block company to provide a proposal, which we accepted.   They were able to schedule our project around our travel plans, which was very much appreciated.   The project was fairly straight forward, although the existing glass block window could not be effectively repaired, so we opted to have it replaced as well.   Everything turned out great.

They were prompt, quick, and neat. They staere very cognizant of the recommendations for the type of windows was great. In particular, the salesman recommended using the glass blocks in my basement wells to prevent leaks rather than a more expensive fix by a different company. My basement has been completely dry since then.

It went very well. The appointment was set easily. The service rep was on time and provided a written estimate before he left. I faxed in a signed acceptance form and work was scheduled for the very same week!

The window techs were professional, competent and cleaned up after themselves. The windows look awesome.

My only constructive comment: The price seemed high, especially for removing/replacing the five cracked glass blocks. But I am happy with the entire job!
