Ferguson Roofing

The guy who came forgot to clean up, and when the wind came along a bunch of stuff blew in the yard. They got there and did the work just fine.

They arrived around 8 am and got right to work removing the old roofing and felt, laying new felt and new roofing. They cleaned up the entire work area very thoroughly and were done by about 3 pm the same day. They did a great job!

Good service during selection. Ridge was done with only 30 year 3 tabs, but they came back and put on another layer when I complained that they were not ridge shingles and not as long lasting as shingles used on rest of roof.

Ferguson came to my house to look at my roof (without me having to be there), emailed and mailed me a proposal a few days later. No sales pitch, but available to answer any questions. Once we made the decision to go with Ferguson, we picked our shingle type/color and they were on the job within one week. They started and completed all work in one day. When they finished, I was concerned about some flashing on the chimney and contacted them. They came back out and made some corrections. They did outstanding work and were very professional and great to deal with.

They came out and gave me an estimate. They were very friendly and nice. They were able to come right out. I was very impressed with their service. They were very prompt and they were very thorough when checking the condition of the roof. I will be going with them to have the work done.

They were very professional. They cleaned up very well. The price was double because the job was so bad due to the roof being in such bad shape. We are going to have them work on our roof too.

They were on time and efficient. They were right on on there bid. It did take them a while to do the guttering. They did clean up very well after themselves. I would recommend them to others.

We've always been happy with them and they had us under warranty even though the previous owners put the roof on. They didn't give me any trouble and they were always here right away. Whenever we needed work done they worked with the insurance company.

They did a good job on all 3 jobs. They were easy to get along with and were courteous.

They fixed everything I called them back for. I also called for a warranty on the materials and they finally mailed me one.

They were not the cheapest or the most expensive. They did exactly what we expected of them and they also gave us a lot of information. They were thorough and we liked how the quote went and how they explained everything and what they were offering. We are happy with the roof and they cleaned up very well when they were finished.

They had come to my house twice before, always because of storms and shingles coming off. They had always provided great service. I liked them because they were very honest and they never take advantage of me.

They were on time, clean, and worked hard. They had the shingles delivered the day before and were done in one day. The insurance paid for it so I didn't have to. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to other people any time.

When they came, they had to do repairs that another roofing company caused and did not do correctly. They were very professional and nice and knew what they were doing. I am very happy they were able to get all the leaks and problems solved for us.

Pleasant experience with contact person, project manager and workers. Appreciated adequate number of workers for the job, also quality.

Company provided a reasonable estimate and performed the repairs in a timely manner.

Out of all the roofers that we interviewed, they weren't the highest or the lowest. We were going with a specific type of shingle and they actually contacted the manufacturer about the warranty. They went the extra mile and let us know that the manufacturer would not guarantee it due to the pitch of our roof.

Communication was bad and the job was done wrong. They never fixed it the way it should have been.

After the roof was finished, we then set up an appointment to sign the contract for siding, soffit, fascia and gutters - sales person did not show up or call. The next day someone from the company called to set up another appointment but did not apologize or explain why the original salesperson missed the appointment. We decided to go with another company because of Ferguson's poor/non-existent customer service. Also, the roofers did not replace the drip edge which covers the exposed wood at the end of the roof-line. We contacted Ferguson and when they finally called back, they stated that we didn't need to replace it. The exposed wood ended up being covered by the company that did our siding and gutters because it was just easier than dealing with Ferguson. You should not have any exposed wood when your roof is replaced! A positive note, the roofers broke our satellite dish and Ferguson paid for the repairs without any fight and the roof itself looks great.

Sales person was very friendly and helpful. I was planning to select Ferguson Roofing to repair my roof. However, on two separate occasions I contacted them and had an appointment to meet with a representative, and each time no one showed up or contacted me. I followed up with a phone call and no one even apologized for not contacting me. I chose to go with another roofing company.

The service manager came out and everything was ok, except our gutters. He was very nice when he came, so we were very surprised when they did not respond as promised, an indication of the service we would get. He was also the only one who would give us a bid, but it was unreasonable ($20,000). We think this was to let us know that they didn't want the job.

This is a follow up report. We had our roof done in the spring of 2005. In the fall of 2005, we discovered that the roofers had cut away necessary flashing where roof & siding meet that allowed mice to get into the walls of our home. If that weren't bad enough, we also had interior water damage. They fixed both problems. This could have been a much better experience with another company.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WAS SURPRISED THAT THEY SENT A LETTER AND DIDN'T SHOW UP BUT THAT WAS NOT TYPICAL OF THEIR SERVICE. THEY WERE SWAMPED BY A HAIL STORM. THEY ARE GENERALLY VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT.

I ASKED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON THEIR WEB PAGE. THEY CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE ROOF IN JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS. ONE OF THE SALES REPS WAS GOING TO COME BY MY HOUSE. WE SET UP A DATE AND TIME, BUT HE NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO CALL.

THE SALES REP, RYAN CLINTSMAN, WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PERSONABLE. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS ABUT INSTALLING THE SOFFIT AND FASCIA. I DECIDED TO GO WITH ANOTHER VENDOR, HOWEVER, BECAUSE FERGUSON ROOFING USES ONLY ALUMINUM SOFFIT AND AFTER SHOPPING AROUND, I DECIDED I WOULD RATHER HAVE VINYL SOFFIT. ESTIMATED COST WAS $2625.
